To protect users against shoulder surfing and enhance security when entering a PIN, I would like to request an improvement to the PIN keypad UI in Proton apps.

    1. Background & Objective
Entering a PIN in public or crowded areas poses a risk of shoulder surfing, as bystanders can guess the PIN based on finger movement over a fixed key layout.
Users need the flexibility to instantly change the keypad's operation mode directly on the lock screen before unlocking, depending on their current surroundings.

    2. Proposed Feature: On-Screen Shuffle Mode Switcher
Rather than hiding this option deep within the app settings, please place a mode toggle UI directly on the PIN entry screen (before unlocking), allowing users to seamlessly switch between the following 3 modes on the fly:

    Shuffle after every digit:
The number layout reshuffles after each digit is entered, fully preventing observers from tracking finger movement or gestures.

    Shuffle once upon opening:
The layout reshuffles only when the PIN screen opens and remains fixed during entry, balancing input speed while removing fixed-position predictability.

    No shuffle (Fixed layout):
The traditional fixed layout, designed for fast entry in safe environments.
