    Hi,
While trying to create a multi-level to-do list on Proton Docs, I was bothered by the lack of tabs too. As a workaround, I made a local browser extension. Please feel free to try it out: https://github.com/Niloy333/Tabs-in-Proton-Docs

This version takes care of my needs. But I might continue working on it if there is interest and Proton does not officially add this feature. Enjoy!
