@protonuser - Actually, it doesn't reduce the privacy/security of PM. What if the receiving party doesn't understand English, and just throws the mail in the bin/spam? Or you're not able to communicate in a different manner with that party? Sure, I agree with you in some way, but that would only work for close friends or relatives whom you've already told what its about....and, btw, there is no need to put private data about yourself in the notification, maybe just your name, or maybe you already chose to display your name....
