We have the ability to create a Blackberry app, but are focused instead on iOS and Android. We may build one later this year, or explore the idea of opening our API for the community to build one instead.

BB10 will be around for a very long time. The realease of the PRIV andriod device is a good look for the company but the BB10 still needs a native BB app to make the use of proton mail more usable on the device. For info on the priv device check out http://us.blackberry.com/campaigns/priv-wsj.html
An error occurred while saving the comment user commentedLooking forward to having a native blackberry 10..have you guys reached out to blackberry for a possible joint venture? They may consider working together to build this app as it may have a mutual benefit for both parties.
An error occurred while saving the comment user commentedIs a native BlackBerry app still being considered?
An error occurred while saving the comment user commentedYou guys need to partner with blackberry. The majority of their user base has privacy and security as the main reason why they use a blackberry device. If ever you made a native app or as you said offer the bb developers the opportunity to create an app it will very well received...trust me.
Blackberry users myself included have been searching for an alternate to gmail for a very long time. Check out this forum post on cb
Please make this happen
An error occurred while saving the comment user commentedThanks for responding..are you building the ios/andriod app later this year or did you mean you may build the BlackBerry app later this year?
user supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment user commentedI would pay as well...however I saw somewhere that they plan on making an andriod app which can be used on blackberry devices.. But we want a fully native blackberry app not some knock off andriod insecure port. It may be worth it start discussions with the Blackberry team to discuss a partnership on this matter. Since blackbbery no longer has an email service of it own it would be great to partner or even purchase protonmail..just my thought. Protonmail and BBM Protected would be an awesome combination.

Any update on possible development of a Blackberry app?
I will even settle for Blackberry Hub integration.
Worst case scenario you can port the android version to Blackberry World App Store.
