    I am even willing to pay extra to have this dependency removed!
    PLEASE! This is ridiculous. I have a ton of apps that can send notifications without play services dependency. Even if you cannot remove this dependency for notifications (for whatever reason) - please add an option to stop using notifications. I will refresh the app manually if I want to - just remove the annoying pop-up message for now.
