    If you're using a free account, why would they care if you threaten to discontinue use of Protonmail? That just saves them money.

    It's sad to see people posting all of these "Give us X for free!" threads. This is not Google -- if they can't mine your data for money, they have to charge money. It's not fair to have paid accounts fund a free ride for everyone else. Not everyone with a paid account is rich..
