A timed lock could also solve one of my real dislikes of the Proton Mail app (Windows).
If you close the app without logging out it can be opened again without a password. This behaviour still exists if you shutdown the laptop/PC. When the laptop/PC starts up again you still don't require a password to open the Proton mail app.
On a corporate desktop this would be unacceptable for security reasons.

It would be desirable that a part of your Proton Drive that should only be in the cloud and not visible to the app.
Currently the Windows app syncs everything:
* Everything in the directories that you select is uploaded
* Everything in the "My Files" can be accessed from desktop by cloud stubs that the app creates. It would desirable to be able to select what you want from Proton Drive storage to be visible to your Win desktop. This could be done several ways:
* The app have a button with the options of syncing/not syncing your Proton Drive "My Files" with your windows desktop.
* Proton Drive to have another storage area like "My Files called "My Vault" which is always ignored by all syncing operations.-----------------------
This download syncing of "My Files" can be prevented by giving the app a "Proton Drive Folder" that has one file it. The app complains and will not create the cloud stubs on the local Windows desktop, the directory must be empty. The upload syncing of the windows folders to Proton Drive is unaffected.(cloud stubs same idea as windows cloud files)

It would be more secure to have the option of being able to use separate passwords for each service (P'mail, P'drive & P'pass).
If your mail account was compromised by a user, that user has access to everything.
It should be optional. Some folks may prefer a single login, others may prefer a more secure environment where each service has its own password.

Sorting by sender allows for simple manual management of incoming mails, it is a common feature in many email clients.
Currently the only manual way to do this is to do a search by sender or create a rule that moves everything to a folder.

In the absence of a Linux app for Proton Drive it would really good to be able sync/backup network drive shared from a Linux computer on a Windows desktop where PD is installed.
