I was looking for this just now and was under the impression I could change the default font, size, and text colour in the "settings" tab (same as Outlook and Gmail), but my formatting turned out not to work for emails themselves, but solely for the "signature' (which I don't use). Couldn't find anything on the topic in the "Help" and consequently Googled for it: Tadaaaa... here I am!
So, a big fat "no" on the option of changing the default text settings I understand? oO

I mean, needing the Hubble telescope to read incoming mail is one thing (> ctrl+), but I'm a lazy so-and-so and my patience is fragile (ie, a short fuse: Not healthy for my poor keyboard), so a simple feature that allows users to preset text appearance would be enormously appreciated.
