    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

So far I understand Proton's core business relies on two services for now:
    . Secure e-mail
. Secure Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

    where "secure" means anti-bigbrother.

This means that the development of a smartphone/tablet only operating system would be really far away from their business targets.

Anyway... who knows? I wouldn't consider this feasible for now.

The Android related big hw companies aren't willing to make things simple for its customers at modifying their devices at OS level.
This means that apart from a minor number of technology passioned fellows, people without knowledge are indeed not enabled to change in their devices in any simple way the operating system and its radicated bigbrother attitudes.

So the only solution to this seems to be a complete paradigm change.
This can be done, for example, by bringing back what can be called "ethical consciousness of the masses" (sounds like old comunist jargon, isn't it?).
Ok, I'm not willing to go off topic, so I'll terminate here my post.
    Have a nice day.
