How is this still not being considered? One of your developers said in the past (several years ago) that you already have the internal mechanisms to provide such queries (on your Reddit).
It's ridiculous. There are several features with less votes and much more recent that you've worked on (and some of them completed). This is basic email management tooling -- what you were supposed to do on the first few versions of the service.

This is a feature Proton Mail is sorely missing. For a service with E2E encryption that sacrifices email searchability for privacy reasons (yes, I know one can enable full message search, but still!), Proton Mail should compensate by having a stellar labeling / search facility.
Instead, not only is it not stellar, it is even sub-par: what's the point of allowing for multiple labels in a message if one cannot search for messages with multiple labels? This works well only for email counts below a few dozens, when you can quickly search for emails with one label and **visually** identify the ones with another label as well. Please, do take a look at this, it is much more important than the full-text search you implemented recently.

Dear Proton,
You know what seems to be happening? You've been neglecting basic functionality for people who have supported you right from the start -- technically-savvy people that use email a lot.
Posteo has this feature. It also has end-to-end encryption. And it also costs less. It does not have all the other services Proton provides, but it does provide a decent email service -- its purpose.
I used Posteo in the past and took an interest in your project and mission statement. I never would have though you were thinking about leaving such critical features unimplemented for years without so much as a plan.
I find myself more and more disappointed on your roadmap; I feel largely unheard by your support / dev teams.
I would understand it if we were talking about niche features, but we're not: format=flowed is very important for developers (many tools expect it, like the already mentioned `git-send-email`).
Just do the right thing, please. Don't become like other companies we've already tried to escape from.
