The option to turn off conversation view is available under "Settings->Appearance->Conversation Grouping".

I seriously hate being forced to use the messy and confusing conversation view. Why can't I separate my emails to suit myself?

Please allow the Option to turn on/off conversation/threaded view of emails.

The question is, why would you add such a useless and annoying feature in the first place? Haven't you seen how many complaints there are regarding Gmail's smartphone apps because this feature cannot be disabled there either?

Do you think you can surprise us by Christmas?

I'm amazed that NOTHING has been done yet... I've been using Protonmail since the 1st quarter of this year and have immediately come here to point this out, only to discover that it's one of the main complaint from everyone (which is normal, forcing this horrendous option is beyond my understanding). I'm complaining because other than that I really love this email client and services, I really do. I think you are the internet of tomorrow and I applause your great work, so... get the damn thing fixed! Thx (PS as others have pointed out, I also restrained from taking the paid subscription because of this)

New plus user here. Just signed up and annoyed that I cannot turn conversation view off.

ProtonMail took a step backwards when it decided to force this "feature" on its users in version 3.0 . It should at least be made a setting. Disappointing behaviour from such a great company.

Just turn this feature off please. It's bothering so much. The normal classic view to display the emails should be the default.

Team, please implement this as soon as possible or at least give us an indication when how much longer we need to wait. A lot of people - myself included - don't like this view and feel very passionate about it.

I believe in ProtonMail and switched to a paid account right away, but It's frustrating when there is such slow progress on basic stuff.

Guys can you tell me whats happening with making the conversation view optional.

This is pivotal for me and a game breaker.

Avoid reading message per thread. If someone reply to a message, even if the same conversation thread, it could be on another topic. When you have many conversations and topics it's complicated. Others mail clients allows per thread or stacking message one by one (you read it, reply and suppress).

I would make this my main email account except for the stupid conversation view. So many people want it removed but the developers seem to have their own agenda. Why canvas user's opinions and then just ignore them?

Forced conversation mode is the only thing stopping me from switching to use the current version of your webmail client..

As others have said, conversation mode is aggravating, doesn't work as expected in a number of situtuation and should be na OPTION not mandatory.

Please complete and release the option to switch on / off conversation mode as a matter off urgency.
