Undo Send
Implement a 'send email delay' when you press Send button it does not send email immediately, just with a slight 5 to 10 second delay, or ability to cancel sending an email after I press Send button.
Just like Google has in its Gmail.

My send is delayed on my gmail account by choice for 30 seconds and it has saved me both mistakes or having to add onto an email and looking imprecise. Would love that choice!

Totally for this idea! As a business user, there are times when you have to redo the content of the email before sending. Every word is crucial so you really have to think about what you are saying and this Gmail feature saves a lot. Would like to see this in Protonmail because I'm leaning more and more to using the platform for my businesses, but the features are still lacking.

I would like to see an "Undo Send" feature, as found in Gmail. This is essentially a delay in sending, I guess, during which you can click an "Undo" link that appears in the bottom of the screen after you have hit "Send" on an email, for a varying amount of time that you can set (ex. 20 seconds). This gives you the chance to abort the send and tweak the message if, after hitting send, you realized you had forgotten something or you wanted to change the tone. It's something I find I use quite often for work.

Please create a feature that would allow a delayed sent on email. A 30 second to 1 minute delay send would be fantastic. Schedule send is another great option.

I would like to see a delay up to 10minutes before the email actually sends, if say I am sending something important/formal. Once it's on the net then there's no going back. Better safe than sorry.

@ProtonMail : this feature could be a good commercial advantage because Inbox will be turned off in March 2019 !!!!! And there is no good alternative to this feature anywhere !
I want the same feature too. But to be more precise, I want to be able to differ an email that I want to be deal with tomorrow etc...
This allow people to keep an "empty" inbox everyday and to see "email task" arriving when you have time to deal with it.

As OCD (literally) as I am, I still make mistakes, including accidentally hitting send before intended, or realizing I forgot to add or remove something, etc. I don't use it often, but the few times I have had to use Gmail's Undo Send feature it has saved my butt. It's a small thing, but I don't see myself committing to a service that doesn't include it. Thanks.

The obvious reason for this to *not* exist is because you ALWAYS should read your email before sending it.
But I'm giving it 3 votes because, tbh, no one ever has read their email again until it has been already sent.

An outbox is the perfect place for sheduled email and yes, a revoke function could be implemented there for any kind of email.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SECURITY FEATURE FOR ANONYMITY:
Seen on other email services. Delay the delivery of an email so entities that are watching your IP address cannot link you to emails sent, via your IP requests.Provide options depending on users urgency:
- Random 15mins
- Random 1hr
- Select time/date -

Hi,
It would be nice to be able to schedule / delay the delivery of messages. Prepare an email and when clicking send, you could set a time and date for the delivery of that message.
Most of the other web services have it so why not yours?
Thank you

This delaying feature should be implemented if the developers have time. It would be implemented on the front server side (the MTA) or the client interface if possible....
