Add in IPv6 support for the VPNs.... That is the key.

Come on guys, IPv6 is already here. I am about to move off IPv4 completely. You and Tivo are the holdups!

This goes against the security parameters of this project. Faking emails say from the whitehouse.gov would be possible (in fact straight SMTP on a direct port to TCP23 allows this. There is no security. Security was never planned for email, nor TCP/IP because TCP/IP was only suppose to be temporary (waiting on the OSI standards...which never materialized and were too late when some showed up). The standard 7 layer network model comes from the OSI.

I agree here. Integration with the GPG server infrastructure would go hand in hand. Unicode is the future, although it should be now.

You have that, just go to settings and prioritize the address you want as the default.

That should be there, it's not as straightforward as I'd like. It should be easier, I agree.

A sieve filter would work fine.

Security precaution: jpegs and other content especially PDFs and plain links can be dangerous. If an email is in Spam you certainly don't want anything automatically opening.

I would like a Quick Delete Button to allow just one touch to completely delete an email (mostly spam and Trash). I'm spending too much time going through 4 motions of deleting then approving then emptying trash then approving. I get way too much junk I need help. I love the ability to filter mail, but we need a quick way to just get rid of stuff.

A Recall function would be nice but would have to be supported by multiple clients via a complete rewrite of SMTP, and IMAP. It'd be nice. email needs to be rewritten anyway!

It's not protonmail's fault, if you use email people get and sell your address. I'd rather have it in SPAM just in case it might be important. The Spam filters are superb on this platform. Now if everyone rewrote the email protocol for built in security and flexibility we could stop some of this BS. Right now I can log into SMTP on a character based screen and say who I want to be, say president@wh.gov. It's a very insecure platform to begin with. Protonmail fixes a lot of this BS.

Just use a secure centralized key store is all I ask. It's too confusing for the general public. I also don't like sending it inline just because things happen.

They can tell based on the TCP ports used, and the GRE tunnels created. It would be nice to get around this using encryption to the VPN server using different ports, and regularly changing server names if not IP addresses.

RSA use to have nice tokens whose numbers would change every so often. Bank of America used it and may still do. It was nice to know that I had to have that card!
