Mail and Calendar view both simultaneously. /ProtonMail-desktop.deb
Find it inefficient to constantly switch between Mail and Calendar within the same window when need to view both simultaneously.
ie. you can't have distinct, separate windows for Mail and Calendar open at once. I guess its not suited to multi monitor setup ATM.Its great though so keep it up:)

Add flags to outgoing email messages
Apply Labels to outgoing email messages.
I'm sending an email to myself - its a reminder to do something later.
It would be useful if I could apply a Label to the message when I create and send it.7 votes -
Automatic time parsing for new calendar events
When creating a new event in the calendar, any time written in the event header should automatically be put as the time for the event. The given time should then be removed from the header of the event.
Example #1: If an event is made with the header "Hairdressers 17:15" then the starting time for the event should be automatically set to 17:15 (on 24H systems) with a standard duration time of 1 hour. The header for the event in the calendar should then be just "Hairdressers" with the given starting time.
Example #2: Similarily, if an event is made with the event header "Meeting 12-14", then the event should automatically get the starting time of 12:00 and end at 14:00. The header for the event in the calendar should just be "Meeting".

Widget view in the Calendar app itself
Having just moved from Google Calendar, I miss being able to scroll through all my appointments in the way the widget shows them. Because the widget only shows two weeks and there seems to be no option for a similar view in the app itself.

An easy way to copy the sender's email address of a received email
Currently, left-clicking on the sender's email address collapses the message, while right-clicking on the sender's email address brings up the browser's context menu. Users can't perform a basic action like getting the sender's email address from their Inbox to the clipboard.

Display alias used for incoming mails with BCC
Hello,
When receiving spam or fishing emails, I would like to know to which of my emails (aliases or not) it has been sent to, even if my email address was put in the BCC field of the sender.
It would allow to better identify which emails have been used and eventually deactivate specific aliases.

Importing email from Gmail -> don't turn folders into labels
The mass import from Gmail to Proton Mail was great....except my extensive set of folders/sub folders got turned into one massive list of labels.
Please either make
(1) an option where a label category can be converted to a folder; or
(2) make it so Gmail folders are imported as folders with their nesting folders under them.Having to convert everything manually is excruciatingly tedious.
Thank you for your consideration!

Inbox First
A recent change to the interface has moved the Inbox folder below the Drafts, Sent, and Starred folders in the sidebar. I want to move the Inbox folder back to the first position in the list, but I don't seem to be able to click and drag it to reorder the folders. Please either undo this change to the ordering of the default folders or add functionality to let users reorder them however they like.

Refilter an email to diagnose filter actions
Run an email through filters again and report which filter did what action. This would be indispensable for heavy filter users to diagnose why some mails are getting specific tags, or expiration period.
It would also help to test a newly added rule without affecting other mails, or waiting for it to run through all emails.

Set all messages as default view instead of inbox
The default opened mailbox when launching protonmail is the inbox. It could be useful to set the default to an other mailbox / folder. For me, the all messages will be great because all my email are sort automatically in folders with filters.

Rearranging Calendar Items
I'm a Proton Calendar user and I'd like to suggest a feature that would greatly improve the usability of the calendar: the ability to resize events by dragging their edges directly on the calendar view, without having to manually edit the start or end time.
Most mainstream calendar apps (like Google Calendar) support this, and it makes scheduling much faster and more intuitive — especially when rearranging a busy day.
I hope this is something you'd consider adding in a future update. Thanks for building a great privacy-focused calendar!
Best regards

Calendar reminders with "Urgent" option
Be able to create "urgent" reminders like the ones just introduced in the native iOS Calendar App. Very useful!:
https://www.macrumors.com/2025/11/04/ios-26-2-alarms-reminders-app/"In iOS 26.2, there's a new option to set an alarm to go off when creating a reminder in the Reminders app. When adding a reminder, selecting a time and then toggling on the "Urgent" option will cause an alarm to go off at the designated time."
"Alarms that you set in the Clock app can also be integrated into the Reminders app by allowing the app to access Alarms in the Settings app.
When a Reminder alarm activates, it displays a snooze option or a slide to stop option. If you snooze it, it will show a countdown on the Lock Screen that includes an option to complete the reminder or reschedule it. Tapping to complete the reminder opens up the Reminders app where you need to tap again.
In the Reminders section of the Settings app, you can also opt to remove the snooze option and replace it with a Complete button to immediately mark it as complete. Apple distinguishes Reminders alarms from standard alarms with a new blue color."

Feature Request: HTTP/SOCKS Proxy Support in ProtonMail Bridge
Dear ProtonMail Bridge Team,
I would like to submit a feature request regarding ProtonMail Bridge. In some network environments, internet access requires the use of an HTTP or SOCKS proxy in order to connect to external services. Currently, ProtonMail Bridge does not appear to support configuring a proxy, which means it cannot connect to the service in such environments. When I follow the normal startup process and try to sign in to my account, the application fails to connect due to the network restrictions. It would be very helpful if ProtonMail Bridge could support HTTP or SOCKS proxy configuration. Ideally, there could also be a Settings option available on the login screen so users can configure network settings such as a proxy before signing in. This issue is very easy to reproduce in networks that require a proxy, and proxy support would make ProtonMail Bridge much more usable in restricted network environments. I would very much like to use ProtonMail Bridge while connected through an HTTP or SOCKS proxy.
Best regards

Allow 'All Mail' to be chosen as the default folder
The tedium of using ProtonMail because it reverts to the inbox is annoying. New messages filtered into folders are not noticeable from the inbox. Please allow 'All Mail' to be set as the user's preferred view.

Search field in labels for proton mail – mobile app
When adding label(s) on a message in the Proton Mail Mobile APP (in my case iOS) it is no search field available. With many labels you have to “scroll” thru an extensive list, and would be easier if you could “drag down” in the labels-list and a search field appeared.
