Sort newsletters by overall COUNT regardless of read/unread
The newsletter feature is awesome but it is missing a core sorting functionality which is sorting by the number of emails not currently deleted - regardless of read/unread status. I want to sort so that I can clean up my inbox with the most bang for buck, and all the ones that have nothing "unhandled" will naturally fall to the bottom.
As of the time of writing this we have:
Least Read
Most Read
Most Requent
A to Z
Recently Read
Recently ReceivedI need just Count (descending) to use the feature the way I want - as a to do list to handle cleaning up my inbox by the worst offenders first.

Option to set a default startup folder (e.g., "All Mail") on the mobile app
I would like to request a setting in the mobile app that allows users to choose which folder opens by default when launching the app, rather than being forced to start in the main "Inbox."
My Use Case:
I heavily utilise Proton's filtering rules to sort emails from my various addresses into different custom folders. Because these filters route mail away from the main Inbox, my Inbox is often empty. To actually see my new mail, I have to manually navigate to the "All Mail" tab every single time I open the app.Adding a simple toggle in the settings to select a "Default Startup Folder" (such as All Mail, Starred, or a specific custom folder) would eliminate these unnecessary extra taps and be a huge quality-of-life improvement for power users who rely on custom filtering.
Thank you!

Email Notification Reminder Option in Calendar App
Add the Email Notification reminder option in the Calendar app. Right now there is only the option to create a mobile app push notification reminder and its easy to miss (at least for me). Thank you.

Searchable folders when moving emails
When you go to move an email to a folder, have a search bar to filter out the folders you're not looking for. Please have this for all your platforms (mobile, web, etc.). This is very useful for those with many folders and subfolders.

In the new categories, please add "all mail" as an option
Right now, categories are all separate. You need to look from one to another to another. I just want my old inbox as an option, where everything is available at one time.

Clear Proton Mail Android notification, if that new email was read on desktop or another device
So if I receive a new email, my phone notifies me, and notification stays until I open Proton Mail on my Android phone and read the email. However, if I am at home by my computer, I get a new email, my phone notifies me, but I read that email on my PC instead without touching my phone. The notification of that email stays on my phone screen until I unlock the phone and clear it.
Gmail app would clear the notification of the new email, if that email was (marked) read through PC or other device.
Why this is good idea? If I have my phone on my desk, while working with my PC, uncleared notifications of new email, which I already read on my desktop can falsely tell me that there is a new email. So if I receive a new email, my phone notifies me, and notification stays until I open Proton Mail on my Android phone and read the email. Invite user to single instance of recurring event
I have a recuring event, but I would like to invite a user to a single instance of this event, and would like a way to do that without duplicating the event, deleting the single instance of the previous event, and then adding the user to the new event. If this process could be automated, where when inviting a user, a confirmation appears asking to invite them to a single event or the whole series, and in the background Proton Calendar duplicates the single occurrence, deletes the old one, and invites the user to the new one so it becomes a separate event, that would be great (or some other workflow to accomplish this).

Sort group contacts alphabetically
Have group members sorted in order like they are in Contacts. I have no idea what order I’m seeing them in, but finding a specific member is hard.

Notification settings per label
It would be great to be able to adjust notification settings for each label individually, i.e. for some labels I want to be notified but for others not.
This is incredibly useful for people who happen to have a large amount of labels with some of them being critical but others not.

Partial export of .ics of Calendar
In order to update records locally, it would be useful to be able to export only part of the calendar’s .ics file so that we can update local records without having to export the entire calendar every time, which becomes cumbersome for daily updates.
Ideally, it would be possible to set a date range for the export.

Storing showing read/unread prefference
Enable making showing only read/unread/... etc a default. We can already filter on this (on desktop using Show filter in the top right), but this isn't stored. I would love for this to be stored somehow. This could be done in many ways.
- Store it as user preference after change
- Adding an additional setting to the settings that allows us to set the defaultIt is stored in the url (
#filter=unread), but this is reset when clicking on the inbox button.2 votes -

Show full folder path in “Move message to…” search results
Problem:
When I move an email and type into Move message to…, results only show the leaf folder name. I have parallel structures for different children, e.g.Children/KidOne/SchoolOne
Children/KidTwo/SchoolOne
Both show up as “SchoolOne”, so I can’t tell which is which.Request:
Display the full folder path (or at least parent folders) in the move dialog’s search results—for example:Children / KidOne / SchoolOne
Children / KidTwo / SchoolOne
Nice-to-haves:
Show the full path as a secondary line or breadcrumb.
Tooltip with the complete path on hover.
Keyboard navigation should read the full path for accessibility.
Option to toggle “Show full path in folder lists” in Settings.
Why
Reduces misfiling, saves clicks, and helps anyone with mirrored folder trees (families, clients, projects with identical subfolder names).Problem:
