Option to sort filters alphabetically
Managing filters without a sort option is slow and tedious - please add a sort option to put filters in alphabetical order.

Send & archive
It's really hard to use the inbox 0 approach when you can't switch the "Send" button over to "Send & Archive". It's very easy to implement and a really essential feature I'm extremely surprised to find missing.

Add BIMI Logo Fetching for Imported Emails
When emails are imported from external providers such as Gmail or other IMAP accounts into Proton Mail, the sender's avatar is often missing or replaced with a generic placeholder. It would be a great enhancement if Proton could automatically fetch and display BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) logos for imported emails whenever the original sender's domain publishes a valid BIMI record.
This would make imported conversations feel more native, improve visual consistency, and help users quickly recognize legitimate brands without relying solely on the sender name or email address

Send voice messages to anyone, even without Proton
Messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger have a near-monopoly on voice messages. Users who have left those platforms lose the ability to send voice messages to most contacts, because convincing people to install Signal or Telegram is unrealistic.
Everyone has an email address. That is the universal fallback.
Proposed feature: add voice message recording directly in Proton Mail.
If the recipient is a Proton Mail user, the voice message is delivered and played natively in the conversation view.
If the recipient uses any other email provider, they receive a standard email with a large Play button linking to a Proton-hosted page where the audio plays inline, no download or app install needed. This also gives non-Proton users a natural touchpoint to discover the platform.
Why this matters: it breaks the dependency on Meta apps without requiring contacts to change anything. Email is universal. Proton already handles end-to-end encryption for Proton-to-Proton messages and the same model applies here.
Optional addition: on-device transcription (via something like Whisper) included in the email body for recipients who cannot or prefer not to play audio.

Remove Max Delay Limit for Scheduled Emails
The schedule send function is currently limited to a maximum of 90 days later. I understand the use cases for sending an email futher into the future is incredibly niche but I don't see any reason why there has to be an artificial limit to this.
I would like to send an email to myself at least a year into the future.
Can we just remove the cap like Gmail does?

Option to select initial mailbox / folder on Mail app open
On both Windows and Android apps, opening Proton Mail with always go to Inbox as the initial view.
I have setup rules to move incoming messages to various folders so my inbox is not useful to me (it's just mail not yet included in a rule).
Please provide an option to select which folder to open mail into. At minimum this could be a choice between 'INBOX' or 'ALL MAIL' which is what I have to switch to EVERY time I open mail.
Thanks!

Toggle to move the toolbar (all platforms)
An additional customisation to the Toolbar to move it to the top or bottom of the screen would be great.
It would make migrating from other services a bit easier for users that a very used to actions such as delete, move etc being at the top of the interface.

Custom button in Proton Mail for Identity and addresses
Hello,
It would be nice to have faster acces to option to check my Identity and addresses, instead of going to Settings - All Settings - and Identity and addresses. Maybe a custom button underneath Imbox,Drafts, Sent...
Or better yet somewhere to be listed when you click on the upper right profile icon.
Sometimes I can't remember what Identity and addresses I created...6 votes -

Connect to "Random Country" option
Please add an option for "Random Country" next to the option "Fastest Country" in the Proton VPN app
Currently there is only two options in the Android app for Proton VPN:
- Fastest Country
- Last connection
...this is a problem, because it makes it means that a user's going to be frequently using the same server.
This is bad for users who want to switch between servers frequently -- which is better for privacy.
This is also bad for users who are experiencing issues where the server selected by the "fastest server" algorithm gets stuck on a country that has implemented fascistic internet laws or experiences geo locks. If a user is presented, for example, with either a "please give your government-issued ID to this third party provider to view the content of this website" or "due to GDPR, the content on this website is blocked from your country", then there's no easy way to tell the Proton VPN app "yeah, this country doesn't work; let's try again with another random country"
The only option currently is for a user to manually select a country. Which, again, means their traffic will get pidgin-holed in a single country over-and-over, decreasing their online privacy and making them more vulnerable to surveillance and traffic correlation attacks.
The solution to this is to add a third option to the above-listed options, named:
[3] Random Country
When "Random Country" is selected, every time Proton VPN connects, the algorithm to decide which server to connect to should first pick a random country from the list of available countries, and then pick a random server in that country's available servers. And connect to it.
This means that, when the "Random Country" is enabled, when a user clicks "Disconnect" and then "Reconnect", Proton VPN should connect to a different server almost every time.
This allows a user to quickly "alt tab" to their VPN app, tap twice (disconnect-connect) and then "alt tab" back to their web browser and refresh if they've encountered geo blocking or other issues with their current VPN exit.

Folder <text box search filter>
Issue: Once you start to have many folders (lets say 100+), it starts getting a bit annoying to find the correct one as you need to scroll down to find it.
Solution: Just above the "Folders" section in the Mail, there should be a text box where you can type, and as you type it filters the folders with those characters.
For example: I want to search for a folder name "Proton". I could just type in this text box "p" "pr" "pro" "prot" "proto" "proton" and find folders that contains these characters. Similar to how Steam does it for the games library.
Bonus 1: Include an toggable option to show the parent folder if the filter finds sub-folders.
Bonus 2: This could also be added to the settings->folders and labels, as well as settings-> filters.Simple and very useful :)

sort folders without going to settings
On the Proton Mail inbox (https://mail.proton.me/u/5/inbox) scroll down to 'Folders':
Add a sort button right next to the + (add folder) button and before the gear (settings) button. This would eliminate the need to load another page to sort the folders and then reload the inbox page.
Also, as others have recommended, allow the subfolders to be sorted alphabetically.
Optionally, allow the folders to be sorted when they are created

Link confirmation: option to disable warnings per domain
When clicking a link, a window appears saying:
“Link confirmation
You are about to open your default browser and visit: URL”There is a checkbox “don’t show again”. Please add another option like “don’t show again for this second-level domain”.
There are many trusted websites where I don’t want to see this confirmation every time, and at the same time there are many unknown or suspicious sites where I do want to keep seeing the warning. Having per-domain control would make this much more convenient and useful.
