Yes please, it's frustrating having to click this every time, for the same contacts/senders that I trust.

This is the only missing feature that keeps me from upgrading.

This is an incredibly basic functionality offered by most of Proton's less secure competitor's and as others have pointed out, user behavior almost assuredly will prove out that offering it makes the account more secure as the current options of click load every single time vs turn on loading all images leads to people choosing the latter when what they really want is to load always for trusted contacts.

I would like images to load automatically in the free version of proton mail.

How do we UNLOAD remote content? I need to print something and the remote content takes a half page!

Still waiting. This is almost a deal-breaker - there are days when I receive a dozen emails from trusted senders and I am tired of clicking "Load" every time. So annoying.

Yes! It would be great to be able to click a link to auto-load remote content from specific senders. Of course, it would be nice to be able to [STOP LOADING] (for this sender) later, if desired.

It would be nice to have a whitelist of emails which loads remote content automatically for so I don't have to press load content every time. I would still like to have the feature off for other unknown emails.

Currently, you need to click "[LOAD]" for every message that contains a link to external content. Please add a new button, perhaps [ALWAYS LOAD] (for this sender). I appreciate the additional level of security from not loading content from unknown senders, but making it unnecessary for known senders would save a little time when browsing through messages.
The information about senders could be maintained in Settings.

Add a third option for "Load remote content" that enables the automatic loading of remote content for known contacts.

I'd like the additional option to Always Load remote content per sender. A button right next to Load would be great! I suppose you'd need a setting where I could maintain that list of senders as well. But for some mail, I always want to load but I want to leave the default off.

why this feature is not added until now?

It's actually less secure to not offer it, as people will become frustrated with the terrible UX experience of clicking "allow" on every trusted email, and will blanket turn on the setting for all email.

This really should have been thought of as an option to be implemented from the get-go. It's massively not user friendly to have to constantly select "load images" for certain senders you already trust or for emails you've previously already loaded images for before!
