Stop serving ads to your paid users
When using the web browser client, paid users get served Proton's own adverts in the form of promotional bars. Please give us the option to opt out of your own ads.

I'm using the Mac mail app and every now and then an "offer" button appears on the title bar. I can remove this each time, but it's irritating. The primary reason I moved to a paid service was to avoid the distraction of ads. I don't want to see ads in a product I'm paying for, period. After some digging around, I found a setting under "Subscription > Notifications" to turn off In-app notifications. Hopefully, this will work. However, if it does, this should be set to off by default.

Ok to get the notification once, but not a permanent button on the interface - At least not for paid users.
Anyway I'd rather have an email than an in-app or web notification. -

And this doesn’t happen only in the browser. The email app also has a small promotional banner, constantly offering the Duo plan. I simply don’t have anyone to share a Duo account with, but it stays there, annoying me.

I have Proton’s Unlimited plan, and there’s always a banner offering me the Duo plan. It’s irritating not to be able to remove it, since I simply don’t need it, and it’s always there. Please remove it.

I pay for a service to not see adds. Seeing adds in your web browser plugin and the mail app is ridiculous. Especially the pop up in the browser plugin.
I hate to say this, but I would rather migrate to a different paid service then continue to put up with the adds.
