I would personally not vote for this because I'd like the devs to work on feature parity across the multiple apps. For example, the linux clients need a lot of development and this should be prioritized over a new product. Just saying...

Any updates on this please? It would be good to see a wider range of Vault Icons. For example, for accounts related to Travel, there is no icon that fits the category, like a tiny airplane or something like a the icon of the earth.

Similarly to the vault management backend of other Password Managers that shall not be named, Proton Pass could add a feature to allow users to purge the whole vault (bulk delete) as the current deletion process is not very efficient as it is per-vault only.

Any updates on this? It's a critical feature.

Please add the ability to click on a vault and hide it with a password. This is an important feature in case a user is compelled by an adversary to open Proton Pass, avoiding exposure of highly sensitive data. The idea would be the the user clicks on the chosen vault and select "Hide Vault", then Proton Pass asks for the user to type in a password. Then once this is done, the vault disappears from Proton Pass.To make the vault appear again, the user would need to type the password of the hidden vault into the search field. If possible, for extra security, hidden vaults should be excluded from exported files too.
Such a feature would add a huge layer of security to users and it would also set Proton Pass apart from all other Password Managers, giving it a competitive advantage.

This is an important feature. Proton Pass could implement username generation by expanding the "Generate Alias" button in the Email or username field to allow the user to select a simple login alias or generate a good username on the fly. If the user enables the username field, then the username generator should only offer the option to generate a username and not an alias.
The Proton team can do this better than existing password managers by allowing flexibility to usernames generated. Please do not add username generation based only on one random word (e.g., sorcery). Instead, allow the user to at least generate two random words as username e.g., sorceryrampant and (as a bonus) it could be great to add numbers at the end e.g., sorceryrampant784. This would make Proton Pass have the most robust username generator in the Password Manager space.
Thanks!

The alias creation logic used in https://app.simplelogin.io differs from Proton Pass.
When creating a Random Alias based on Random Words via app.simplelogin.io, the following format is used: train_green748@simplelogin.com. However, when creating it via Proton Pass a different format is used: train.green748@simplelogin.com
While this is not a major issue, an observant adversary will likely be able to infer the origin of the alias and determine that the person is a Proton Pass user.
Please standardize the alias creation logic across the two platforms for an extra little layer of privacy.

I wish Proton would take this feature request onboard. This is a massive issue for degoogled users...
