I would like reminders as part of the calendar app, but I would like to be able to easily hide them. Being able to overlay them on the calendar can be useful, but can also just add noise, so being able to switch views easily is important.

Be able to add tasks on proton calendar so that they can be marked as completed without deleting them therefore being able to see what tasks have been completed and which not. Add deadlines for each and rank tasks by order of priority "not important, important, urgent etc..."

Honestly, how seriously are we supposed to take your "roadmap" when it has literally been years (at least 2022) since this has been requested? This is a CRITICAL item for me (law student) - I will have to go elsewhere after signing up a full Protonmail + account if you can't give us more of an idea of when this will be available...do you really care this little about your users as to simply ignore their feedback?

I would really appreciate having notes and a to-do list, as these are crucial.
However, I think a separate app would make more sense.

No, don't add it to calendar. Make it a separate app. Calendar app is already not good.

I agree, Since getting off Apple iCloud I've tried all sorts of apps without finding a good simple notes app that sync between my laptop and phone.

I could definitely use the tasks feature! Right now I've been putting them in my calendar, which is less than optimal.

I completely agree, this would be a game change for Proton Calendar to become a true alternative to Google Calendar or Outlook. Just copy how Google calendar integrates tasks. I think it's smoother than Outlook and has better integration with their other apps like Docs.

Still waiting for this feature. It was promised in spring of 2025 now summer 2025.

I love your services. As I want to move from big tech to more secure and private solutions, my next step is to cancel as many Google accounts as possible. I am a heavy Google Tasks and Calendar user. Though you have a good calendar solution, I am missing a smooth integration of task planning & management across multiple devices.

This is really what's needed to completely move away from Outlook :-)

Google's "Tasks" is almost perfect. It's not bloated with features - and does just one thing that it's supposed to. There are only two faults I see with it. 1. That's it's Google and therefore offers practically no privacy. 2. When a task has sub-tasks, they do not get grouped in the "Completed" section - and get moved there as independent tasks. Something similarly simple and well thought out as part of Proton app suite would be ideal!
