Temporary Disable a SMTP token & the ability to monitor usage
The only way to disable a SMTP is to delete it.
It would be nice to have a method of temporarily disabling a token to stop its use for sending mails OR any mails received from a specific token user can be temporarily redirected into a black hole like /dev/null.
What is the need.
An application or a server that is setup to mailout with a token could go rogue and spew out a lot mails. Configuring postfix with a token on a linux box gives users freedom to do want they want with the built-in mailers like sendmail and…2 votes -

Sending emails FROM a group address
I would like to be able to send emails using a group address as the sender (admin@domain.com for example) to make sure my colleagues in the same department receive the replies in case I am not available.

Improve security: How to know if an email is a Proton main user or just a Proton alias (@pm.me) for a different main user
Improve security: How to know if an email is a Proton main user or just a Proton alias (@pm.me) for a different main user
Try to log in without @domain.tld (for instance, if your user is: asdf@pm.me, try just asdf).
If asdf exists as a user in @proton.me/@protonmail.com/@protonmail.ch, it will return an "invalid password" message. Otherwise, it will tell you that the user doesn't exist.
IMHO, the message should always be: "Incorrect username/password combination." That would also help avoid disclosing which addresses could be active (or at least were active at some point).

Auto-dismiss push notifications when email is read on another device
Currently, when I receive a push notification on my iOS device about a new email, the notification remains visible even after I've opened and read that email on another device (such as my laptop or desktop). This creates notification clutter and doesn't reflect the actual state of my inbox.
Proposed Feature:
Implement cross-device notification synchronization so that push notifications are automatically dismissed on iOS when the corresponding email is read on any other logged-in device.Use Case:
Receive email notification on iPhone
Open and read the email on laptop/desktop

Indent capability on mail message editor
I am using the MacOS client and WEB client and it would be nice to have an Indent capability to improve message formatting. Currently there are only bullets/numbers and alignment options.

I'd like to be able to choose whether to leave past events in color or gray like now.
You don't just work with the calendar looking forward; you often need to go back, and all the gray makes it difficult to see, especially when you have a lot of calendars and poor eyesight. Google Calendar lets you select how you want to view past events. That's what I need.

Show DKIM validation status for each received email
Just like Thunderbird, indicate DKIM status of the email being read. Something like:
DKIM: Valid (Signed by simplelogin.co)
This could be done in two ways:
- Add a DKIM field like the From and To fields when reading an email.
- In the inbox view, add a column with an indication as to whether the email is signed/valid.1 vote -
iOS 27 Siri AI Integration
Proton Mail/Drive/Calendar should support Siri AI integration with this fall's release of iOS and macOS 27. Having thoroughly researched Apple's new Foundation models and AI architecture, its clear that they are prioritizing use of on-device models for the vast majority of requests and only going to Private Cloud Compute (PCC) if needed (in which data is deleted right away after the request is fulfilled). You can independently verify Apple's PCC claims here https://security.apple.com/documentation/private-cloud-compute/verifiabletransparency.
Having tested these AI features myself, they make my life significantly easier with being able to find the things I need just by asking or typing…

allow particular selected folders to be excluded from "All mail" (so that "All mail" does not show excluded-folders, spam & trash)
Problem: I automatically sort mail into folders, but then I can't see what I've newly received in Inbox because the pre-sorted mail does not appear in Inbox -- so I'm forced to use "All mail" to have an overview of new mail. But that will include massive amounts of clutter I don't need to see. It would be helpful to use "All mail" and then specify specific folders that I want to exclude so that I can get an overview of my new mail without important mail being swamped by unimportant mail.

Maintain Snooze through sub Folders
I love using filters to automatically drop messages into their proper folder. If something lands there, and I want to snooze it, right now I have to move the message to the inbox to snooze it, then once the snooze goes live again and the task is complete, I have to move it again to put it back in its original folder.
I'd love snooze to stay constant regardless of the location of the message. That way the existing orgranization can hold steady, while I wait till it's time for the next step.
Thanks :)

Hide Snooze Count Option
I would love the option to hide the snoozed email account. Visually, it reads as a nudge, as "unread" - because it looks almost the same as an unread count on the web browser. I'm sure some folks love this, so I don't want to take it away, but I snooze things so I don't have to think about them until the specific date I set... so getting the constant nudge defeats the purpose of clearing my actualy brain memory cache :)
I have another snooze related feature, but I'll list it separately - I'd like to label and move…

Move Multiple Messages Simultaneously
For better organisation it would be useful to be able to move multiple messages (in a single conversation) to another mailbox by selecting the "Move to" function in the highest message in that conversation.
Unless anyone can tell em otherwise this does not appear to be the case at present.

Booking Page - Disable feature altogether
The booking pages form a great feature for business users, but seeing as I use Proton as my personal account, I now have a permanent button to a feature that I don't use - and thus - have a cluttered calendar. I would prefer if I was able to disable the booking pages feature altogether, via the integrations settings, for example.

Choose which alias can log in to Proton
Hello Outlook.com now is accepting to choose what alias can be used to login on account to improve security.
Why Proton mail dont do the same thing? with this we are protected from botnets(credential stuffing or brute force), because we can create a alias and dont share the username with anyone.
Thanks

Mail and Calendar view both simultaneously. /ProtonMail-desktop.deb
Find it inefficient to constantly switch between Mail and Calendar within the same window when need to view both simultaneously.
ie. you can't have distinct, separate windows for Mail and Calendar open at once. I guess its not suited to multi monitor setup ATM.Its great though so keep it up:)

Option to disable email notifications when editing events with guests
Currently, editing any detail of an event with guests (even minor typos or description tweaks) forces an email update to all attendees. This creates unnecessary noise and inbox clutter.
Request: Add a checkbox in the edit dialog: "Send update to guests" (default: checked).
- If unchecked, save changes silently without emailing attendees.
- Essential for correcting typos or adding minor notes without spamming guests.
Why: Other calendar tools allow this granularity. Proton Calendar needs a way to distinguish between major changes (requiring notification) and minor edits.
Thank you,
