Paid XLS to VCF Converter vs Free tools - what is worth it?
I often need to convert large Excel (XLS/XLSX) contact lists to VCF (vCard) files for use on multiple devices. I have come across both paid XLS to VCF converters and free online tools. I am confused about which option is really worth it. Are paid converters significantly better in terms of features, speed, and reliability? Or are free tools sufficient for most situations? I need something reliable for offline use, with batch processing and no risk of data loss.

Standalone app for Proton Calendar on macOS
It would be nice to have a standalone app for Proton Calendar on macOS, similar to Apple's Calendar. It would also be good to have a widget similar to Apple's Calendar widget where you can get a glance of the month you are in. With this way you don't have to open the app. I currently use the Apple's Calendar but if I had a standalone app for Proton Calendar on macOS, I would have used it.

Sieve body extension not supported
I am trying to use a Sieve filter to move emails to a folder based on the content of the email body. For example, I want a filter that moves emails containing the phrase "Thank you for submitting a bug report to Vivaldi" into my Archive folder.
Currently, when I add this to my Sieve script:
require ["fileinto", "imap4flags", "body"];
if body :text :contains "Thank you for submitting a bug report to Vivaldi" {
fileinto "Archive";
addflag "\Seen";
}I receive the error: unexpected identifier: body
This indicates that the body extension is not supported in ProtonMail Sieve, although it…

Increase attachment size
The 25M limit on attachments, I get from a server load perspective, but it sucks as a user. Every time I grab a video clip these days the codecs create enormous files and even when you trim them the frame rates and resolution are always too high to create something under 25M. That cap should really be raised because I can't use proton whenever I need to get something like to someone else.

Edit/delete both Current and Future events for a recurring event series
Google Calendar has long supported the ability to choose whether modifications to an event in a recurring series will affect the current event only, or the current event and all future events. Exchange long lacked this ability, but at some point has gained an option to do so: https://oneminuteofficemagic.com/2025/06/12/editing-recurring-events-in-outlook-with-this-and-all-following-events/
Workflows I wish I could do but don't think I can right now (or it is difficult to do):
- Delete an event from a recurring event, plus all future events in the recurring event. Eg, I have a recurring event, but I no longer need it going forward.
- Edit an event…

Better UX for iPadOS Proton Mail app (split‑view layout)
Proton Mail’s iPadOS app should adopt an adaptive split‑view layout that takes advantage of the device’s wider screen: a fixed‑width left column for folders and the message list, a flexible central pane that previews the selected email, and an optional right pane for contextual content such as thread history or attachment previews. This layout mirrors the familiar two‑column designs of Apple Mail and Outlook, reduces vertical scrolling.
By implementing responsive spacing, larger typography, and split‑view states, the app will feel more native on iPad (currently it just feels like using a big iPhone app on the iPad screen, improve workflow…

Different colored stars (and other symbols)
I like toggling the star to indicate which emails I need to respond to more urgently, but I think it would be helpful to allow options in addition to the yellow star. Gmail, for example, allows yellow stars, red stars, orange stars, green stars, blue stars, purple stars, green checkmarks, red exclamation points, yellow exclamation points, a blue information symbol, a purple question mark, and an orange guillemet (the >> symbol). Allowing options such as this (I'd particularly love a dollar sign to flag bills and receipts) would really make stars more useful by letting us use different colors and…

Resize New Message/Composer Window
Allow the user to resize and position the new message window. You can do this in Apple Mail. You resize and position it once and then it opens that way from then on. Composer/Normal is too small and too far to the right. Composer/Maximized is too big and too far to the left. Or add a third Composer medium/center option.
Also when you minimze the mail window the new message window should be there so you can more easily drag and drop photos and documents from your desktop into the message. (It works this way in Apple Mail.)

Android App parity with web app - Especially for Email formatting (Bold, Colours, Underline etc)
I use the Android app for emails on both my Android phone and tablet. But I can't even put text in bold or use basic email formatting functionality. I have to log into the web browser to do that.
I also can't view emails or calendar horizontally. And have to log into the apps vertically too.
These are basic UI and functionality issues that need to be resolved before further enhancements.
Email templates would be ideal too.

Virus Scan for Attachments
Gmail scans attachments in e-mails for viruses and other malware. It would be nice if Proton was able to scan attachments in e-mails for viruses so we don't accidentally download an infected file.

Avoid main email address leak when using Hide-my-email aliases with PGP options enabled
Options under https://account.proton.me/u/6/mail/encryption-keys#pgp-settings are causing main Proton email address leak to a recipient of the email sent from my Hyde-my-email alias.
User should be warned when enabling the option or asc/key attaching disabled when sending from alias.

booking page extends endlessly into the future - a definable limit is essential
The ability to customize the booking preview (e.g., 1, 2, 3, etc. months) gives you the flexibility to modify unavailable periods (for vacations, etc.) in the future. No one wants to see bookings 10 years from now, and certainly not without approval, see https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/51229348-booking-page-add-option-to-approve-booking

Hide username/email from the browser tab title for better privacy
I have a small suggestion that would honestly be a lifesaver for opsec. Currently, Proton Mail displays the full email address in the browser tab. This is a bit risky when sharing screenshots or screen sharing in university or work groups, as it’s incredibly easy to accidentally leak your address.
It would be amazing if we could get an option to hide the email address from the tab title, or just have it say "Inbox" instead. It’s a small tweak but would go a long way in making the web app feel even more secure.

Add an option to copy the visible text of a link when right-clicking it.
This is useful because selecting anchor link is difficult or impossible.
