Conversation view for Android
I would a conversation view in the mobile application as it exists in the desktop version !
Conversation view for Android is now available.

I definitively agree with this proposal, the mobile app is soo crowded by showing every e-mail, when they could be wrapped up by conversations.

This is the single biggest gap in ProtonMail today. For most of us, the mobile experience is the primary experience for reading mail. People want to use PM, but most won't adopt it as their primary email client until this is fixed.

The conversation view in the browser version is great. Especially with the option to turn it on or off. But the mobile app is still lacking that feature. It makes the smaller screen far too crowded and makes the mobile app almost useless.

This is how people use email in 2019. I am part of some groups and it's considered no big deal for people to send many short responses to a thread because they're all grouped together in one's email client... except protonmail. :( This makes it practically impossible for me to be part of a email-based group conversation, as all the messages appear to be single emails to me, and it takes a long time to move from message to message or find a response.
I have been trying protonmail as my main email for the last year but this is going to force me to switch. Threads is How Email Is Used in 2019, it's not "nice to have."

It seems that the devs cannot stay on their own road map, are incompetent, or ghat the User Voice moderators simply do not communicate with the dev team.
That this has supposedly been in development since 2016 doesn't speak strongly for my confidence in the development team. Makes me seriously question if the encryption features were implemented correctly in the first place. The similar state of the U2F Fido implementation that has been "In Development" for nearly as long without progress only fortifies these concerns.
Clearly, the company has moved on from actively developing ProtonMail to be feature complete. Instead focus is now spread around far too many additional "Proton Apps" each of which is just as half baked as the last.
I'm a paying customer, but with 2+ year delays from (supposedly) starting a feature to rolling it out for deployment, I honestly can't see sticking around for much longer without seeing some progress in delivering what has been promised over 3 years ago.

Surprised to see that this feature isn't implemented yet, and surprised to see that it's being worked on since 2016? This feature is a must.

Please implement this feature as as soon as possible! My wife and I are converts from Gmail and are doing everything we can to support ProtonMail, but this is making it very difficult to use the mobile app.

I just signed up for ProtonMail Plus, and have been enjoying it so far. Sadly I just realized that the Android app is lacking conversation view, and it is making me want to go back to Gmail. Managing email threads with multiple people replying is much more difficult without conversation view on mobile.
Please ProtonMail team, get this implemented soon!

Love what you are doing with Proton, but a lack of conversation view on mobile is stopping me from dropping my current email app (Gmail). I suspect I'm not alone in this.

Yes! This is my #1 request - I wish I had know this wasn't possible before purchasing the Pro account.
