Ability to remove/delete attachments
Attachments are not always worth keeping, so please add ability to delete selected attachments as an alternative to simply downloading them.

This is a fundamental feature for business users. Emails contain documents passed back and forth, usually with notes about what was changed and the associated attachment containing a version number, Many of these are passed back and forth through the days these are written. Only the metadata for the attachment and email content needs to be retained in the email folder. The attachments are saved by the user and updated.
Metadata should contain the file name and the storage location on the users system (folder) along with the date/time detached from the email. Optionally - as some business email systems provide - Proton mail could keep an attachment folder archive and store the detached attachments in that archive, giving the user a link in the email to provide and alternate path to access the document in that detached attachments archive.

Please add a way to remove attachments from messages (without having to delete the message). As storage can be at a premium on this service it's a useful ability to have to manage your own space usage.

Being able to remove attachments from emails I've sent too.

It would be great to have the ability of keeping a message without his attachment. Particularly in a conversation or when the attachment is sent by the mailbow owner.
I didn't find the feature in protonMail.

Good idea, but there must be some indication that there was an attachment in the original message. Ability to delete an attachment from an email, but keeping the metadata such as the attachments filename, size etc

An option to remove metadata from attached files like images (for example location where a photo was done), pdf/doc files...
