From my perspective, I believe that such a feature compromises privacy.

Each user has his/her own key, which means that an authority has to break each key for each user. It is not the best way to attack protonmail users.
If you worry about aes, a better suggestion would be to combine different ciphers leaving no room for compromise.

I like the idea of having an app for Ubuntu Touch - not so much how this suggestion is laid out. It is two different suggestions, and I want to vote for an Ubuntu Touch app..

Perhaps a more intuitive way could be to show a green lock when the communication is secure vs a red (open lock) to remind you to encrypt your communication. Similar to how browsers act when using SSL vs plaintext. Most people recognize a red open lock, and understands what that means.

Just use the webmail...? It is a big additional project to roll out desktop programs for every major operating system.

If Google Services is indeed required to run Protonmail on Android, then it has to be fixed.
Good idea, but there must be some indication that there was an attachment in the original message. Ability to delete an attachment from an email, but keeping the metadata such as the attachments filename, size etc
