Select all emails and perform bulk actions
It’s taking me 30 mins a day to delete 100-200 emails this is time consuming and damn right idiotic that the feature isn’t here already
To vote for 'select all' from search results, vote here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483/suggestions/46566259
Hey everyone,
Cleaning up your inbox just got easier – you can now label, move, delete, or mark as read all emails in a folder (including your main Inbox) at once on the Proton Mail web app.
To get started, select all messages on a page. You'll see the option to select all messages in the location (e.g. Inbox) you're in. Then, simply apply actions in bulk, making it easier to manage your inbox.
Thank you for your feedback!

To delete all inbox data Technically as a hack, you can
1. Sign out
2. "Forgot Password."
3. Get the code from your backup email
4. Use the code
5. Nuke all data. This isn't really great, but it seems like an odd enough workaround if you really want to delete a ton of emails at once, since Protonmail doesn't seem to allow it another way easily.
So far, I've found simple features like deleting massive amounts of email from my inbox and only being able to view 50 emails at a time is extremely unimpressive and seems like there is a lack of understanding with problems people have with email...
But who knows, maybe it is a plan to always have your inbox so crammed full that you will eventually need to upgrade to a higher data tier eventually.
If we could all keep our Inboxes managed and easily delete junk we don't need, there would be less of a reason to upgrade. It makes me trust them just a little less, though.

Yandex mail has a cool feature that saves a lot of time when managing your mail. As your mouse moves down the Left column, (Inbox, Sent, Trash, Spam and Folders) A "Delete" icon appears between the names of Trash / Spam and the Email count. Clicking it Clears the folder after a confirmation dialogue box.
Makes it much faster to clear the entire folder than moving the mouse clear across the screen to the upper right corner

When i did my mail import from gmail to Protonmail I opted to not import two labels thinking that it wouldn't import the mail associated to this label.
Instead it imported all the mail but just no the label.
No I have over 100,000 emails I need to batch add label too. 2000 pages to do it manually :( :(

Help!
I have somewhere over 10,000 messages in Protonmail and can't move them to trash. I select all (the usual 50), then click on Move to Trash. A message pops up that 50 messages have been moved to trash, but they remain in my inbox and don't appear in trash. Restarting the computer doesn't help and neither does closing and reopening Protonmail.
I am getting close to the limit and need to remove old emails to insure that I can get new ones.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Allow to select all search results (not only a 50 records page) to massive move/delete messages

this is such a bad process. Aborted import because of data size limit and now can't get rid of all the emails that have filled the box without going page by page??? Seriously. No wonder Google and other services appeal to the masses, they make these kinds of operations easy and give them lots of space.
Proton loses on this feature. -

It's ridiculous people have to ASK for something like this.

It would be good to have one button to press to mark all letters in the spam folder as read.

This is pretty critical since the only way to remove an address from your account (which has a cap on the number of addresses you can have on it) is to permanently delete all messages to that address.

Possibly Proton mail has only demented robots at work in their dungeons. I have been trying for 5 weeks to persuade pM to issue clear, complete, accurate instructions on how to use the bridge app. Instead of answering my questions PM continuously sends me video instructions that purport to answer my queries, BUT those vids invariably use screens that I NEVER see at my end. Yes, PM is probably relying on robots to serve paying customers. Bloody rediculous.

It's especially a pain on mobile when I search for some spam sender (whose emails I want to be deleted all at once) and I can't bulk select any of them.

Amen to that, we all store a lot of emails but at some point one need to clean this up. As of now there is no tool to do that efficiently. It would be nice to have a tool like that. I second the request.

Also, it is a must for "emptying the trash."
