It is strongly recommended to provide the "burn after reading" function. If the recipient is also using ProtonMail, it has the function of "burn after reading".

Would be an interesting feature to be able to set the expiration to let the user read the message only once. For proton-users, it would expire after the reader is changing selected message, and for non proton users, the link would work only once.

I second this idea. As an alternative to time-based expiry, it would be very useful - in some situations - to have a read-once-only e-mail that expires immediately after it has been opened.

I would very much like to see an option that the message will be deleted after it is read 1 time. 2 times, etc. That way, I will not worry whether the recipient might se the message in the next couple of hours. Whenever he sees it, it is fine, and after he sees it, it will disappear.
