Split address mode - separate emails into different inboxes
Separate email addresses are for separate things so it would be helpful to just click an email address from the menu and see only those emails sent to that specific ProtonMail address.
Multiple inboxes.
We are reviewing this idea to get closer to a clean inbox for all our users. We will let you know once we have more updates

I would also like this feature. My husband and I both use the same protonmail account with several addresses- I want to see my email and our joint email address but not his. I can accomplish this in OS mail but not webmail.

100% - the main thing that is missing to protonmail for me. Just like bridge does, but in the mobile app and online

If the web interface and the mobile app has something like multi accounts in the bridge that would be awesome.

Multiple users still means under Professional that my wife would have a user on our custom domain as well as her separate ProtonMail Plus account. No thanks. Both accounts should be able to hook into the same domain.

I would like to have the choice between Combined Addresses Mode or Split Addresses Mode, when using ProtonMail Web & the apps.
It's a feature already available on the Bridge, so it shouldn't be that difficult to have it here too. Thanks

I know i can filter emails to direct emails for each alias, but i cannot then move emails to different folders for storage under that alias' folder.
If each alias had its own inbox, then i could create folders under each inbox to keep the size of my inbox reasonable and stay better organized. -

it´s been 2 years and this has STILL not been addressed???

Doesn´t matter if you pay them or not, you still get all mail in one inbox. I am on the visionary plan and all that really gets me is slightly more storage (still low) and my own domain (yay?).
It´s been a year and I am disapointed, i expected this to develop beyond a basic, unrefined mail client into something like gmail.
God knows I dont want to migrate my email again but with no communication from protonmail and no idea what they are planning or even if they are planning any significant improvements, I am out.
I am looking for alternatives again,

I don't see much added value in this, on the contraty, I love unified inbox. There's a sort of solution for you, that does the main thing: just create three inbox folders and set up filters that sort it based on the domain.

when an account has multiple email addresses, the ability to view emails sent to each email inbox separately rather than aggregating them together. Hotmail allows this when one has multiple email addresses.

I love the Idea, it would be really useful those who really need it, I don't how ever.

Just the ability to separate would be nice, instead of paying for two plus accounts. Some stuff in my personal email I don't want seen when I have my business email open in front of co-workers.

I need multiple email addresses associated to one account in one place. Each account has a different function. I have to go all over lucifers barn to access them all

I don't think I'm the only one! When I signed up for Protonmail I assumed with separate email addresses I would also get separate inboxes - NOT just folder filters.
I wanted to have a business inbox, and a personal inbox. I would then further divide by subcategory using the folders. Currently I am using the labels as separate "inboxes" but that isn't satisfying at all. I'm not judging you developers, but I don't believe this would be hard to implement. If this isn't a thing soon, I'll probably downgrade and go back to my old business email. Proton mail has been awesome for my personal use, but I really need to keep these "worlds" separated, or I might make a mistake.

This would be awesome if it was organized in a similar way to how Thunderbird manages multiple accounts.

As a protonmail+ user using a custom domain I shouldn't have to use a filter to have my custom domain emails show up in my main inbox. I would suggest having multiple inboxes under 1 account. What I mean is you sign in with your email and you have an inbox for name@protonmail.com, another mailbox for a@domain.tld, and another for b@domain.tld . Under each of these inboxes they can all have their own spam and archive folders and whatnot. This would be much nicer, but for some users as well who prefer a unified inbox protonmail could automatically color code the mail so it is apparent which address it was sent to. This is my biggest gripe with protonmail at the moment, but if this is implemented it would be amazing.

As you can read here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protonmail-v3-8-release-notes/ (topmost comment) there won't be any separate accounts under a PLUS subscription. You will need to buy the future professional plans, which are ridiculously expensive:
"Professional plans will be priced at $8/month per account and you can add as many accounts as you want. So for 2 people, two professional accounts would be $16. For 3-5 users, the Visionary plan is the best deal because that is fixed at $24/month." (Admin)
That's 192$/year for two separate accounts and 288$/year for three and more separate accounts. So please back this feature request: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/18627634-multi-user-support-for-plus-subscription
