This desperately needs to be done to make it viable for anyone having imported thousands of e-mails from other services and wanting to get rid of them.

Mail is like a second brain to me, so it would be great if not essential to be able to search message content in the mobile app as well.

This is just insane that text search in emails is even theoretically supported only in browser. I'm using Proton Mail for a while now and I like it a lot, but if you guys want to become a professional suite of work instruments, content search should be present across all platforms.

Without this feature the mobile app is almost unusable. Is there any ETA on this?

If I'd known I couldn't search email content on mobile without using my browser in a desktop mode—or search my cloud storage files on mobile—I wouldn't have switched to Proton. As much as I like other aspects of Proton's products this is a disaster for how I expect to use products in those classes and I'm looking at other options.

You can't search word in message body. Even Proton confirmed this themselves. -

I suppose I don't understand this request. I seem to be able to search for anything on mobile app and can locate it.

Yeah...Trying to send your important emails to Proton so you can have them safe during a trip...and then not being able to find them. Luckily gmail would find them in a second. This sucks and it's blocking me from using Protonmail as a standalone app.

I migrated my email to Proton without thinking a feature like this could be missing from a paid product. I'm now setting up another provider because this is a significant deal breaker.
