Able to add notes to the indiviual email
Most of times we had emails from other people where subject is not clear and sometimes we need to add extra notes to make it understandable or remind us for something. Microsoft Outlook has the ability to add notes but none of online clients be it Gmail, yahoo or Outlook ahs an ability to add personal notes to individual emails. I would love to add notes to the emails especially when both the email and notes will be secure.

This would be extremely helpful for retaining context that the e-mail itself doesn't have, as you might have to re-review that e-mail years into the future and otherwise forget what the full story behind its contents was.

Please add Custom email preview notes. Sometimes I do forget why I did mark an email as Favorite. (Star icon) So a little custom note why I did that would be really helpful. Example: "right click" on Email -> "Add Note"

This would be a very useful feature. Just a few characters to comment each single email.
A column near "selection" and "star" could be added, with a live icon opening a text frame.
If it is too complicated, the idea form <Anonymous> to change subject can be acceptable. -

Notes on an email—a note-to-self or "sticky note" concept—would be really useful. It's that quick bit of info you can surface into view to:
- keep you from needing to looking into the email itself,
- jotting down that important related thought that the email doesn't include,
- gives you better control of the information in your inbox. -

I agree regarding the ability to add a short note to an email. Is there some sort of technical issue in that regard? It seems like a no-brainer...

Would love this feature. It is very time consuming to open several emails to see if it is the one needed. A note section or edit subject line would make finding the correct email much faster.

I support this idea! I just got a duplicate bill and asked the company to delete one of them. I would love to be able to add a note to the emails about which one is the "live" one and wouldn't want to delete the duplicate bill email, as I might need it for documentation if the company doesn't do as requested.
