Set a default compose font
As one of those typeface afficionados, I would love to see a feature where I can set a default compose font. Currently the compose screen defaults to Arial.

Hide some default folders (e.g. drafts, spam...) from the sidebar
I would like to have an option to hide some of the default folders from the side bar and put them under a "more" drop-down menu or something similar. And an option to re-order default folders would be nice as well.
Secondly, most of the time I don't want to see messages I've deleted, in the "All mail" folder. A toggle to show and hide trashed emails would be great.
52 votesYou can hide folders you don't use often in the web version of Proton Mail. Expand the "More" section and drag them here.
We've also planned to let you hide spam and trash emails from All Mail.

App selector within ProtonMail
I am unsure if this presently exists, but I think it would be beneficial to have the calendar and the contacts open in individual tabs so one could easily switch between the applications of mail, calendar and contacts without having to close the other tab.
79 votesWith the new ProtonMail, you can easily switch between your ProtonMail, Proton Calendar and Proton Drive using the app switcher. The contacts widget is also easily accessible within ProtonMail. Give this a try at mail.protonmail.com today.

Dedicated gmail Import Tool / Feature (Without Using The Bridge)
Please provide a stand alone method to import all gmail message history, without the use of a bridge. So many of us would like to completely leave gmail behind, but cannot because we still rely on the message history in old gmail accounts.
I don't want to download the message history to a computer. I want to transfer all messages directly to folders in my active PM accounts, where I can access them at any time within my PM accounts. Thanks.
4,735 votesWe’re happy to announce that this feature is now complete. You can test it on beta. Don’t hesitate to send us your feedback. We would love to hear it.

Support multiple accounts on iOS
Either allow multiple accounts to be open simultaneously in the iOS app or add option to switch between accounts without having to formally log out and log in between each swap.
Despite allowing multiple aliases for a single account, if you have a personal account but also shared an account (eg with a spouse) aliases don’t suffice. The idea of forwarding every email from one account to another is archaic, lose for user and lose for proton mail because you’ll be storing the same message twice unnecessarily.
Multiple account support is a basic feature for email apps.
1,039 votesThank you for your feedback! The iOS Proton Mail app supports multiple accounts.

Schedule Emails
I have another email service that allows users to schedule draft emails to be sent at a specified date/time in the future. Once the draft is complete, the email is automatically sent at the future specified date/time, unless that draft email is deleted/replaced prior to the send date/time. The draft email can either reside in an existing "draft" folder or a separate "outbox" folder (as distinguished from "draft" that does not have a scheduled send date/time).
