I would like to be able to export my contacts into a csv file rather than a vcf and would like to be able to restore my group settings from a csv file if my contacts need to be restored

Search on multiple tags
Tags offer greater flexibility than folders in my opinion, however, limiting the search to a single tag fails to exploit the power of tags. For example I want to see all statements from Bank A. I have a "Statement" tag and I have a "Bank A" tag. I don't want to troll through all Bank A's correspondence, payment etc - just see the statements. Searching on "Bank A" AND "Statement" would achieve this.

a feature on the iOS app to select multiple emails at once... so as to mark "As Read" or "Delete" etc.
A Select feature on the iOS app to select multiple emails at once... so that a person can mark emails "As Read" or delete a bunch of emails at once, instead of going to each email separately to delete it, etc.

More levels for the folder tree
Currently, there is a maximum of 3 levels in the folder tree.
I do not know if the expansion of the tree represent technical difficulties or not.
Yet, it would really be helpful to set the limit to 5 maximum.

IOS App Enable colapse\expand folders\sub-folders
Currently IOS app displays all folders expanded. When you have heaps of folders this can take time scrolling through ALL folders. Would be helpful to be able to collapse all folders to root\parents and simply expand the folder struture you want rather than all folders automatically expanded at the root level.

Move Send button to the opposite corner
In the email editor, the send button should be in the upper left corner and not in the lower right corner. Once the text has been entered, the shortest distance from the end of the text to the send button is always to the upper left corner of the editor. Please relocate.

Allow selecting multiple emails in Android app
The email Android app is very inconvenient to process email because it lacks any ability to select multiple emails in your inbox and perform bulk operations.
I get a ton of non-spam email every day, and I often need to bulk archive or bulk delete. In the Gmail app, this is easy to do. But the current Protonmail app doesn't allow this. I have to manually open and perform the action on every single email. This is very frustrating.

Reading pane on iPad
The ability to add a reading pane in the iPad app to see the email list and current email side by side, like on browser.
I use protonmail.com more then the protonmail app on my iPad because in the browser it allows to view the reading pane, where on the app you can only view either the email list or the current email

When changing e-mail selection, do not mark as read.
When I click a new e-mail, it always marks the previous selection as read. I prefer to mark it read manually

Protonmail / pm.me alias for multi-user
The Visionary plan offers multi-user support. However, for sub-users (not primary account user), any user alias is based on a custom domain only and not pm.me / protonmail is not available.
However, the primary account user can choose to create an alias for a custom domain, pm.me or protonmail.
That flexibility should be extended to the sub-users to provide the same anonymity options for sub-users, i.e., children or primary account owner.8 votes -

Set a default address/alias per contact.
How about we could set a default address/alias per contact if we have multiple addresses/aliases.
Isn't it great protonmail webapp could change sender address according to receiver automatically so friends could get mails from a personal address/alias and business partners could get mails from a business address/alias always?7 votes -
Increase width of scroll bar to 10px at least
I see in beta you have made the vertical scroll bar too thin that it takes effort to catch it, I hope the design aesthetics won't be disturbed if you make it at least 10px.

Sort by date of deletion
If you delete an older email from inbox accidently it's hard to find it in trash again. So it would really help to sort the trash by date of deletion.

Allow special characters in local-part for custom domain email addresses
when trying to set the local-part for my custom domain email address to "~"
I get this error message:"Only alphanumerics, periods, hyphens, and underscores are allowed in the local part of the email address, and it must begin and end with alphanumerics." all I can say is why?
