  1. Add an easier way to see your email addresses

    As far as I can tell, you can only see your email addresses in the settings. It would be nice if you could see them somewhere on the home page of Proton Mail.

  3. Download Desktop Update Link

    When I receive an notification to update in the Proton Mail Desktop Application, when I click the link, it takes me to a page where I have to log in. I don't need to log in to download the application. I can just go to the homepage of Proton to download it. I would like this like to either take me to that same page, without needing to log in, or even better, just link to the file download directly.

  4. Fond size inside mailbox is not adjustable. It is very small and would help if it user could change it to be larger or smaller

    Would be important to be able to change the fond size inside of mailbox, for emails, and default settings of the email program.

  5. UX / User Interface of E-Mail List Improvements

    The current e-mail list in Proton Mail is very unintuitive for the eye and for the user interactions. It is one blend of text, since there is no differentiation of font weight or color.

    There should be a clear differentiation in font weight or color between "from" and "subject" line. The Spark email app can be a great reference for that.

    Spark also has an amazing feature, which is pinning important e-mails to the top of the list. This is such a game changer for e-mails that need follow-up, but I still want to see in my inbox list. Just…

  6. Reorder items on the collasable left panel menu on mobile

    On the web/desktop version you can reorder the items (inbox, drafts, sent, etc..) but on mobile you can't. I think this should be a thing on mobile. I access my emails the most on my phone so having more parity between the desktop and moible versions would be much appreciated.

  8. Better Simple Login Integrations

    Better integrations with simple login to make the UX smoother for some common operations:

    • It would be useful if when looking at an email in the to or from field in your inbox, if the email is one of your alias' in a synced simple login account to show who the email is sent to and description from simple login.

  9. Allow bulk email deletion from a selected folder using a search parameter rather than just 50 emails at a time from the inbox

    When I search my crowded inbox for "unsubscribe", the search returns all. However, I see no way to delete all. Rather, I must select 50 at a time and delete. That's a headache with many pages to process

  11. Add Norwegian (and More Languages) to Proton Scribe

    Currently, Proton Scribe supports nine languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese. To better serve international users, Proton should expand this list to include Norwegian and other widely used languages.

    Currently, Enhanced Tracking Protection in Proton Mail blocks spy pixels and email trackers by default on the web, iPhone, and iPad apps. However, this feature is missing on the Android app. To ensure consistent privacy protection across all platforms, Proton Mail should implement Enhanced Tracking Protection for Android users as well.

  13. Automatic Proton Drive upload for large email attachments

    When attaching a file that exceeds the Proton Mail attachment limit, the system should automatically prompt the user with an option to upload the file to Proton Drive instead. Once uploaded, Proton Mail should generate a secure sharing link and insert it into the email body automatically.

  15. MACOS Client: Need to be able to send links directly from SAFARI.

    In order to fully utilise the MacOS Client, one needs to be able to send links from the browser, using the standard MacOS routine (CMD+L) of sharing links.This is currently a non-existing feature, and I see few if any discuss it.

    (This, coupled with an actually FUNCTIONING linkage between the MacOS client and MAILTO: links in the browser, seeing as neither exists/function the client is rendered as an island that breaks user expected workflow and offers poor UX)

  16. Age of email in filter rules

    The ability to use the age of an email (when it arrived and/or how long it has been in a folder) in the filter system. Archiving, deleting, and reminder to look at something, are the three that come to mind as use cases.

    Proton Duo seems like an awesome feature. I am glad you notified me about its release. If I were two people, I very well might get it. I am only one person. Please allow me to remove it. 😊

  18. Answering email from Proton Mail app DO NOT automatically INCLUDE attachments

    When using Proton Mail App in iOS
    If I receive an email with attachment , I can’t reply eliminating the attachment.
    To reply using just the text i have to do it from my Mac
    I looked everywhere, such a common , easy task to do , not in Proton Mail
    Please add it in the settings or make it as a default.

  19. snooze to desktop or web

    Allows the user to snooze an email in the mobile app, until they view the inbox on web or desktop. So, it's venue-based snooze, rather than time-based. I remember this feature from an email client that's since been sunset, and I miss it SO MUCH.

  20. Support playing .wav files

    Several email-integrated voicemail systems still use .wav files for vmail. Right now, I have to download the files and use a local app to listen to them (because I get a "no preview is available" message if I double-click in app).
    Would be great to be able to double click on .wav attachment and have it immediately play.
