  1. Edit Existing Folders in Proton Mail Mobile Applications

I would like to request the ability to edit existing folders directly within the Proton Mail mobile applications. Currently, users can create new folders, but there is no option to rename or move existing ones (at least on Apple devices). Currently, editing folders has to be done either in the web app or the desktop application

Thank you for considering this enhancement!

  2. Allow sending calendar invitations to your own Proton addresses/aliases

Proton Calendar prevents users from inviting their own Proton addresses or aliases to events, even when those addresses belong to different calendars.

If I try to invite one of my own Proton aliases (e.g., personal@example.com) to an event created in a different calendar that I also own (e.g., a shared team calendar), Proton blocks the invitation. Inviting my own addresses should be allowed when the invited address is not the owner of the originating calendar.

    Why this matters?

Users with multiple Proton calendars cannot keep their schedules in sync, reducing the convenience of shared calendars.

    For example, I have:…

  3. Require entering the password for hardware security key for Proton Mail or Authenticator

When login using hardware key, Proton Mail only asks for it to be inserted and then touch the key. Yahoo mail requires the password for the key to be entered before touching the key. That way, if someone gets the hardware key, they can't use it to login to your account without knowing the key password

  5. Optimize the speed of displaying events when opening Calendar or next screen on Android

I use a widget and I have an exception set for battery optimization, but it takes longer than 2-3 seconds to display the calendar.

  6. Please add Biometric unlock to Calendar

Please add Biometric (fingerprint) unlock to calendar (and Lumo), it and Lumo seem to be the only Proton apps that do not have this feature.

  7. Seamless labelling with hotkeys

Make enter apply the label that is highlighted.

A feature from Gmail that I love is that it's super simple to apply labels with keyboard shortcuts; open label dialog, search for a label and press enter. Job done.

Unless I'm doing it wrong, in Proton Mail on web I have to press "L" to get the labels, search for a label and then use tab key + enter or the mouse pointer to actually apply the label. Instead I want the enter key to apply the highlighted label right away after search (while the search input still has focus) for…

  8. schedule an automatic response to our incoming emails when we are away (very useful for a professional email address))

I use one of my Proton addresses as my work email. I had this feature on my old address when I went on vacation. This helps remind my clients and suppliers that I can't respond within the usual timeframe.

  9. Hide "sent mail" from "all mail" view

Can you add to not view "sent" folder as well to the "all mail" filter? I use folders/filters, but sometimes would like to view "all mail", but not spam, trash or sent in the view.

  10. Option to accept events without notifying the sender

I would like to be able to accept meeting / event invites from emails without automatically sending a response to the sender.

  11. Ability to change calendar used for events in mails

When I receive an event invite through email, I only have the option to add it to my main calendar. This is really unhelpful, as I want to keep the events of my different email addresses separated into different calendars.
I even created a new calendar and set one of the addresses as the default, but an event sent to that address still won't end up in that calendar.

I generally like the "one inbox for everything" model of Proton Mail, but if that means that we lose functionality like this or the general ability to keep things separated, it's…

  12. Calendar Weekly View: Select hours for better visibility

add an option to "zoom in" on specific hours, or alternatively add selection tool for a "work day". For instance, I don't need to constantly see the hours of 10pm to 7am, as I never schedule events then. But currently in the weekly view they're always visible, pushing the existing events further down on the screen. Thanks!

  13. Daily event summaries

    Summary:
Receive a daily summary for all time-specific and all-day events (also if no events are scheduled)

    Description:
Some calendar applications allow you to configure a "daily event summary" notification (preferably via email). Such summaries contain an overview of all scheduled events (all-day and specific-time events) and is sent early in the morning. For example, Google Calendar provides "Daily Agenda", described as: "Receive an email with your agenda every day at 5 a.m. in your current time zone").

    Ideal implementation (to me):
    - Create an account-wide setting to configure daily summaries:
    * Globally enable/disable daily calendar/event summaries
    * If enabled,…

  14. Restore the Tracker‑Shield Indicator in Proton Mail Mobile Apps

Add back the visual indicator that shows whether incoming messages are being protected by the legacy tracker‑blocking shield on both Android and iOS versions of Proton Mail. Users rely on this cue to confirm that tracking pixels and malicious links are being blocked. Providing an option to re‑enable the old shield UI—or a clear, in‑app status display for the new shield—would improve transparency and trust in the app’s privacy protections.

  15. Feature Request: Customizing SMTP Token (Password) Format

The SMTP mentioned below refers specifically to the SMTP Submission feature and is not related to the Proton Mail Bridge app.

Please implement one of the following options to allow the use of "Strong Passwords" for SMTP:

    1. Adopt the Proton Pass mechanism: Allow users to adjust the length and format of the generated SMTP password.

    2. Or allow manual input: Enable users to set their own custom password (and of course, password I have input must meet Proton’s minimum security and strength requirements).

  16. Remove the subscription "Upsell" ads from Proton Mail Linux app

Please remove the adverts for Duo etc. If I decline once, or check a box for "do not show again" or whatever that would be great. I just loathe all adverts that I can't get rid of. Thanks.

  17. When opening a mail item, that has multiples of the same email, open the newest one by default

Currently when you open an email, it doesn't open the newest one, but one of the other ones instead.

  18. Mail search UI should indicate it defaults to subject line

Advanced search has all the categories, like searching body text, sender/receiver/date

Therefore I ASSUME that the default search (not advance) searches only the subject line (as some threads on mail indicate it does).

The User Interface should clarify this assumption

  19. Remove Max Delay Limit for Scheduled Emails

The schedule send function is currently limited to a maximum of 90 days later. I understand the use cases for sending an email futher into the future is incredibly niche but I don't see any reason why there has to be an artificial limit to this.

I would like to send an email to myself at least a year into the future.

Can we just remove the cap like Gmail does?

It would be good to add the option to automatically or manually translate emails that are in another language.
