My default desktop calendar view is MONTH.
When I create a calendar entry the calendar switches to DAY view.
When I have completed my entry I have to manually re- select MONTH view from the top menu. Can you please make the calendar view return to whatever the default view is?

  2. Add Folder‑Search Filter When Moving Emails in Mobile Apps

In the web app, when I move an email to a folder, a filter appears that lets me type the folder name—or part of it—to quickly select the desired folder. This feature isn’t available in the mobile apps, even though it would be very helpful for avoiding scrolling through all the folders.

  3. Folder <text box search filter>

Issue: Once you start to have many folders (lets say 100+), it starts getting a bit annoying to find the correct one as you need to scroll down to find it.

Solution: Just above the "Folders" section in the Mail, there should be a text box where you can type, and as you type it filters the folders with those characters.

For example: I want to search for a folder name "Proton". I could just type in this text box "p" "pr" "pro" "prot" "proto" "proton" and find folders that contains these characters. Similar to how Steam does it for…

  4. Support cmd-0 and cmd-tab to reopen the main window

The macOS Proton Mail app should support the cmd-0 (zero) keyboard shortcut to reopen the main window in case it was closed (without quitting the app). It should also reopen the main window if the user uses cmd-tab to switch to the app and its main window isn't already open.

This is basic, typical behavior for macOS apps. See, e.g., News and Maps, which both support both of these behaviors.

It's super clunky that the only way for me to get Proton Mail to open its main window again is to actually click on it in the dock.

  5. signature template

    Proton Workspace

I would welcome the addition of the ability to create signature templates for Proton Workspace.
    - An organization user could choose a template and edit it with their own details.
    - Even better — add a simple HTML editor for this (as a possible next step of the feature).
    - Signature settings by an administrator are also missing. I can only set the Display Name.

In a more developed version, user details could be pulled directly from account settings — each organization user would have information listed about themselves (name, job title, etc.). Those details could be automatically…

  6. undo button

It would be nice to have an undo edit button like most Microsoft programs. A button with a cylindrical arrow that undoes the last edit made, and stores them so one can go back multiple steps. Keyboards are so touchy that, especially if one is not a great typist, is easy to highlight an entire section, for instance, and replace it with the next thing one types. Being able simply to undo a catastrophic mistake rather than having to retype entire paragraphs would be a useful feature. I don't need to be punished for my typing errors--I know my typing…

Independence Day in the United States should always be listed on July 4. There is no "observed" day for Independence Day.

  8. Select multiple events at once in Calendar

I don't understand why this feature doesn't already exist. I imported my schedule into Calendar, but now I'm stuck with events that don't apply to me. Instead of being able to select these events all at once, I have to delete them one by one. Plus, the fact that you can't just press the “Delete” key on the keyboard to delete an event more quickly is pretty annoying.

  9. Let the user set scheduled send presets

Right now, when you schedule an email to be sent. The defaults are the next day at 8am or Monday at 8am.
I'd like to be able to, at least, set the 2 defaults in my preferences.

For example, I like to schedule emails for just before the end of the work day and have to do this manually every time.

  10. Broader filter categories, ie. all mail from *@Substack to a folder

For instance, be able to send all *@substack emails to a folder, rather than each newsletter at a time

  12. Calendar view is not optimal

The best option for a clear calendar view is missing. The ideal view would be a 3-week view—with the first week always in the first row. Only then do you get a good (3-week) monthly overview: the days are larger, wider, and easier to read, and there’s more text in the header. Anyone who wants to switch to the daily or weekly view can still do so as before. Google Calendar lets you set it up that way, and in EPIM, I suggested it and it was implemented with even more options. It’s not enough to simply have everything (like…

  13. Custom Profile Picture+ HTML Email Designer

I would like to suggest adding custom profile picture support in Proton Mail (with optional privacy-safe avatar or Gravatar integration). This is essential for professional branding and identity.

Additionally, Proton Mail Plus users should have advanced HTML formatting support, including custom HTML/CSS email design, reusable templates, and a proper signature builder. This would allow business users to create professionally designed emails while staying within Proton’s privacy ecosystem.

These features would greatly improve Proton Mail’s competitiveness for freelancers, startups, and business users.

  14. Indicator for Mail in Subfolders

I use Folders to sort between two different email address at the moment, for lack of any better solution within Proton at this time.

Having my 'Primary' Folder collapsed means I cannot see that there is Mail within a subfolder, having a +1 or '+[x]' Icon on the folder next to the usual unread-mail count such as 24 [+2] or something.

This would allow me (and others that use a similar folder structure to me, Primary->Important->Utilities or something) to target the correct folders quickly instead of using the all mail folder, which may have many other emails the user does…

  15. More then 3 Domains for Proton Duo and Family with free Subdomains

It would be fair if the "Proton Duo" and "Family" plans offered more than just three domain addresses. In addition, subdomains should be unlimited.

  16. "Filter similar emails" when cleaning out the mailbox

I Gmail I love the feature (when selected one or more emails) "filter similar email", and then it selects all email from that address, så I can deleted them all at once. I don't see that option in Proton Mail, and really miss it,

  17. Customize Proton web mail client toolbar

Currently in the toolbar you can; mark unread, trash, move, label, and filter.
With an additional click you can; archive, move to spam, print, etc.
It would be nice to be able to customize that toolbar and maybe even add more icons, there is plenty of blank space in the bar to add several more icons.
    Thanks!

  18. Account-Based Calendar Integration on macOS (No Public Links)

    ////////////// Summary //////////////

Add native macOS calendar integration using real Proton account authentication, not public/shared calendar links. If possible also add editing rights.

    ////////////// Description //////////////

Currently, adding Proton calendars to macOS requires using public calendar links. This approach has significant limitations and does not meet the expectations for a secure, professional, or privacy-focused calendar integration.
    Public links:
    - Expose calendar data via static URLs
    - Cannot reflect user permissions properly
    - Are unsuitable for private, work, or shared calendars
    - Do not align with Proton’s security and privacy model

  19. Soft wrap in email composer

It's 2026 and Proton Mail still doesn't have a simple text wrap or line-width setting in the web composer. I'm writing on a large monitor, and when I compose emails, the text stretches across my entire screen. It's hard to read and makes editing paragraphs frustrating.

This is not an advanced feature request. Line wrapping or the ability to constrain the compose area width is fundamental functionality that should exist in literally any email client. Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail — all of them handle this without complaint.

I understand Rich Text mode wraps to the window edge, but that doesn't…

  20. Display cached calendar immediately (no modal loading spinner)

When opening Proton Calendar on Android, please show the locally cached calendar right away instead of displaying a blocking modal loading spinner for 20–40 seconds while syncing.
The majority of events are already in the local cache. Syncing should happen silently in the background without preventing users from viewing and editing the calendar immediately.

    Expected behavior:
Instant display of cached data on app launch
    Non-blocking background sync
    Subtle “Syncing…” indicator if needed

This would make the app feel much faster and more responsive, especially when offline or on slower connections.
