Show and book available appointments (like Calendly)
The functionality of Calendly and others similar to it has been a godsend to my business and daily operations. Effectively, my Calendly account is tied to my Google Calendar and allows for users I share my public Calendly link with the opportunity to schedule a preset block of time with me on my public Calendar. This is automattically added to my "private" calendar on Google (lol). The users cannot see any details on my calendar, just the slots that are available to meet with me, whether in person or remote, with options I preselect through a questionaire they fill out.
Having a feature like this within ProtonCalendar/Mail would be INCREDIBLE and very useful for a lot of people.

This is a huge hurdle for me moving completely to Proton. A scheduler is necessary with my work.

HEY calendar that was released a year ago also does this well.
They have even added an elegant habit tracker.
Having both features allows, productivity folks to drop two more apps in our de-Googling controlled data efforts.
As I consider a paid plan, the more apps I can eliminate the better. Both time trackers and habit trackers are typically paid apps if they’re going to be simple and elegant.
It had never occurred to me that you could bundle them both up into a calendar until I saw it done from the folks at HEY.

I need a way for new patients to schedule an initial phone appointment with me from my website. Right now I have google and I don't think it is HIPAA compliant. I really don't want to use them and am searching for other options today. I am terribly disappointed that it isn't an option here. This feature is the only reason I need a calendar that is not my electronic healthcare record for my patients.

This is a very critical feature. As a paid customer, not having this feature seems to be a big gap in paid offerings

This is absolutely critical. I really, really want to split fully from Google Calendar, but Calendly syncing has been an extremely critical part of my life for a while now because of the complexity of my schedule. It is simply not feasible to manually track my schedule changes and adjust my open appointments accordingly. I don't have a personal secretary -- I truly NEED Proton to add this feature. It has been far too long since this idea was brought up. We need it now!

Proton team, this would be a home run.
I just started my own business and am trying to de-Google as much as possible. I have recently seen this feature on someone else's Google calendar, and it made me consider going back.
I used Calendly for years while working in companies, it saves so much time. This one is a great feature.

Calendly is super convenient and it saves tons of time and irritation. However, it is also a privacy nightmare. Proton Calendar could have a huge advantage over Google Calendar and other calendar services by simply having a Calendly-like function built into it that minimizes leakage of personal information. I noticed the need for this because I have been using Calendly, and previously linked it to my Google account, but no longer benefit from calendar sync since switching to Proton.

Hello,
One of the things that is keeping me from being able to fully migrate to Proton Calendar is the ability to schedule meetings - from a scheduling page, or from emails directly.
It would be great to integrate the ability to allow folks to click on a link to see my availability, select a timeslot that works for them, and that automatically creates the invite for the both of us.
Additionally, and perhaps on a future state, it would be incredible if Proton had "Proton Meets" - a Google Meets competitor that is privacy first -
If I continue dreaming, I'd see this application being able to detect / prevent third party applications from recording the calls, and fully encrypt all communications.

Hey guys, I'm also a freelancer and I rely on meeting schedulers to arrange meetings automatically with my clients. Currently I'm using SimplyMeet.me as it's ISO 27001 compliant, but I have to set my availability manually, and enter arranged meetings into my Proton Calendar also manually.
It's quite frustrating as it's taking a lot of time, especially when it's time sensitive to have an accurate and updated calendar.
Can you please work something out? I'm an Unlimited user, really love Proton, have been using it for four years now. Please, I beg you, make my life easier. -

Echoing that this is a critical feature for me! I'm a freelancer and I rely on Calendly daily to manage my business. I'm trying to de-Google my life right now, but inability on Proton to share my availability with clients (or even better, have clients book a time-slot with me like on Calendly) is preventing me from fully making the switch. Thank you!

I concur. Having more than one calendar is inefficient. I want to use Calendly on my proton calendar.
