  2. Custom Filter condition sort

    Hello, some of my Custom Filter conditions are long and now it's hard to keep track of whether I can combine custom filter conditions. Please provide a sort button to the Custom Filter conditions.

  3. Allow shared addresses within an organization

    I would love to be able to share email addresses within an organization. Like have an "all@custom-domain.com" that sends to multiple people within the group. (Fastmail has this)

    It would be nice, for example, to have the catch-all email address delivered to multiple users' inboxes.

  4. The Tab Button

    I just want to be able to hit tab and align text in my email like I do with any word processor. Even if I copy a string or words with a tab in them, then paste into an email, proton mail interprets that as a random number of spaces. Nothing is aligned. What I have to do is hit spaces a large number of times and the text never aligns perfectly. This becomes a pain when I email numerous times for business.

  7. Freely resize the compose window on the webapp.

    When you press reply to an email, the compose window opens up right in the face of the email. This is super annoying.

    The option to resize is fullscreen, exit fullscreen and minimize.

    It would be perfect if there was a way we could resize the compose window to the size the user desires. This would make it easier for the user to reply to that email easily without having to minimize every minute.

  8. Prevent Auto loading of remote content embedded images in Spam folder

    It would be useful to enable an auto option for loading of remote content embedded images for all emails except those in the Spam folder. I'd like to keep it Auto everywhere else. If it’s in Spam we need to be more careful, so picking up the same settings as an email which passed spam checking doesn’t seem right.

    You can make the option of a one-time purchase of imap / smtp? Paid once and use for life. That would be convenient for everyone. Thanks!

  10. spell checker for writing emails.

    A spell checker has been available on almost all email accounts for the past 2 decades, but not on yours. Come on, get in tune with the 21st century and for all those who don't have brains enough to spell correctly in the first place.

  12. Grouping messages in Android mobile app

    It would be great to copy messages grouping from web version to mobile app (Android). Without this feature it's really hard to use Protonmail on mobile.
    Thank you!

  13. Support of DoH (DNS over https)

    I notice that ProtonMail supports TLS 1.3. When will it support the other issues required for DNS over https - ie DNSSec and Encrypted SNI please?

    As it stands a 'man in the middle' while s/he may not be able to read your emails, they can tell that one is using protonmail.com. (This of course assumes that the certificate authority system has not been compromised, which is a big 'if') In my view all websites should support DoH - otherwise the idea of secure browsing is only 'half baked' at best.

  15. Would like to be able to do a sweep of inbox and auto delete overlapping emails, like the "Clean Up" feature in Outlook.

    In outlook you can select all of your inbox, select "clean up" and all overlapping/extraneous emails (e.g. the earliest ones in a back and forth conversation) are purged. You can set the parameters for exceptions, so that anything starred is saved, etc.

  16. Auto-Archive Email

    Outlook provides the ability to set rules for automatically archiving email based on age and folder/label. Rules like this allow a user to keep their mailbox clean and reduce storage utilization.

    It would be fantastic if we could set the following:

    1. A default auto-archive age for all mail.
    2. Set custom auto-archive ages for a certain folder or label that overrides the default.

    Even if the default is set to "Off" for everyone, I'd love this ability.

  17. Implement DANE for added security and privacy

    DANE (DNSSEC) would be hugely beneficial to the security and privacy of ProtonMail. DANE makes Man-in-the-Middle attacks practically impossible.

    This is a necessary addition and should certainly be prioritized over-all, as it is at the core of what ProtonMail represents: privacy and security.

    It's currently a feature available over at Tutanota (https://tutanota.com) and definitely sets it apart as an arguably more secure option, here's a great read on the topic: https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/dane-everywhere

  18. Invoice to be sent by email automatically

    Big timesaver is to get invoice to the mailbox not to log in to webservice each time needed. This is a standard with many other webservices as they know we need to print them out for accounting purposes.

  19. Send from any address of custom domains if catch-all in enabled

    It is now possible to send an e-mail using any alias account+alias@customdomain.tld
    It doesn't seem possible at the moment to send from anything@customdomain.tld unless an address was created for it, regardless of catch-all.

    I wish that if I can receive to any address using a catch-all, to reply from any of those addresses.

  20. Sieve filtering "subaddress" support

    The 'subaddress' extension described in RFC 5233 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5233.html) is a nice addition in the possibilities of mail filtering.

    It would make it possible to filter mails with an specific tag (address+tag@domain.com). E.g. such a filter can be used to add a label to a mail:

    if envelope :detail "to" "tag" {
      fileinto :create "Tag";
    }

    Or even better, add a label for any tag in the receiving mail.

    if envelope :matches :detail "to" "*" {
      fileinto :create "${1}";
    }
