Ability to change calendar used for events in mails
When I receive an event invite through email, I only have the option to add it to my main calendar. This is really unhelpful, as I want to keep the events of my different email addresses separated into different calendars.
I even created a new calendar and set one of the addresses as the default, but an event sent to that address still won't end up in that calendar.I generally like the "one inbox for everything" model of Proton Mail, but if that means that we lose functionality like this or the general ability to keep things separated, it's…

move to folder - button focus for keyboard nav
In the web interface, I can navigate labels via the keyboard, set them, then just hit enter and it will focus the button and apply them.
When moving a mail to another folder I can navigage which folder to move to with the keyboard, but hitting enter does not focus on the button and I need to reach for the mouse.
Auto focus for keyboard navigation in the same way as the label popup would be nice to have.

Create a Not Spam option
It would be nice if there was an option to mark an email as "not spam" after it has been filtered to the Spam folder ensuring it is directed to the Inbox for future emails.

Better Select/Select All in mobile app (iPhone)
It is frustrating to try to select a word (thus to expand the selection to a sentence or whatever) in an email I compose in your moble app. Repeated taps are ineffective then when the Select box does pop up, if's often not quick enough, and I've tapped somewhere else. If I'm trying to copy just a sequence of words, or sentence, I often get frustrated and delete the phrase and retype it were I want.
Other apps, like in Mac Mail or Notepad, etc. work much better in this regard. Seems like something you should address. Thanks in advance.

Change default view of proton calendar
make it so the weekly view can show the day starting at say 7 am instead of defaulting to 12 am. this would make it easier to see what your days are like quickly instead of having to scroll down past the hours when you are sleeping.

Mail: Search in multiple folders and everything except a specific folder
It's good that you can search for mails in specific folders, but to my knowledge you can only select one to search in. In multiple occasions I was in need of it being able to search in multiple folders at once or in every folder except a specified one.

Mail search UI should indicate it defaults to subject line
Advanced search has all the categories, like searching body text, sender/receiver/date
Therefore I ASSUME that the default search (not advance) searches only the subject line (as some threads on mail indicate it does).
The User Interface should clarify this assumption

Proton app customization
Allow the ability to customize proton mail with proton app icons. They would be where they currently are. You could also turn off ones you may not want. This would allow you to have the ability to access all of protons apps, but all in one place. You could also add a drop down menu and select the proton app you want to open.

New Android mail app
A lot has improved in the new Android app, but I have two suggestions/questions?
1) Can we have more fonts to choose from in the app?
2) I have never understood why the background color in the signature part of the compose field is different than the rest of the text field. Why not have the same color?
3) The font of unread messages in the inbox is very thick and white. Why not make it less overpowering?

Visual indicator in calendar to distinguish meeting from event
I wish I could identify very easily, by looking at my day or my week in the calendar, which elements are meetings (with other people invited basically) and which are events or tasks I added myself to perform a specific action or project (therefore without anyother people invited).
This could also work with the invitation I receive when I acknowledge to participate.
There could be a small icon added to the entry when it is a meeting (for instance a group of people next to the time of the event : 👪).4 votes -
Fix Delete Email Functionality in Android App
When you have an email open in the app and delete it after reading, you are returned to your inbox and many times the email you supposedly just deleted still appears in your inbox. Refreshing the view does not resolve the issue. It doesn't happen every time, but more often than not. From what I can recall, this has been an issue since release.

[Mobile app] Option to wrap event titles across multiple lines in month view
In month view, event titles are currently limited to a single line, which makes it difficult to read longer titles — especially when screen space is tight. It would be great to have a toggle or setting that allows event titles to wrap onto two or even three lines if needed.
This would make the calendar much easier to scan at a glance, without needing to open each event. To keep the layout clean, the number of lines could be capped (e.g., max. 2 or 3), and events could dynamically expand in height if necessary.

Mail notification only for certain categories
It should be possible to send email notifications not only for all incoming emails, but also only for specific emails. For this purpose, you could select the categories for which you do not want notification. This made it possible to hide newsletters, for example.
I know that you can use a filter to move such emails to a folder and bypass the notification, but then they are no longer in the inbox and we don't notice.

Quick Reactions to Emails
It would be great to have a feature similar to message reactions in chat apps, for example, being able to quickly tap an icon (like 👍 or ❤️) to react to an email without writing a full reply.
Microsoft Outlook already includes this, and it’s great for acknowledging messages or quick feedback without having to write a full reply.
For Proton Mail users, the reaction could appear inline (e.g., “Recipient liked this email”).
For other email providers, Proton could send a short, automatically generated message such as:
“[Username] reacted to your email with 👍.”3 votes -
API/IMAP integrations for third party security solutions
If Proton is looking to create a sovereign EU platform for businesses, then Proton will need to expand its access to third parties to meet security and compliance requirements for businesses.
An API integration that would allow companies to perform as examples DLP, Email Security, process GDPR requests, etc are needed to meet the lofty and admirable goal of making Proton the EU's sovereign digital infrastructure to replace Google and M365. If Protong wants toensure the safety and security of EU's technology stack, this will be needed for feature parity to the US leaders in the space.

improved alias email forwarding for multiple domain names
Currently, I see an option to create multiple aliases across different domains, but all aliases must point to the same inbox and a single email. This creates a limitation if I want finer control over how aliases from different domains are routed especially that you multiple domains from alias management.
Feature Request:
Add support for multiple bindings between aliases and inboxes, so that:
• Aliases created under different domains can be directed to different inboxes.
• Admins can define domain-specific routing rules (e.g., *@domain1.com *@domain2.com → inbox A, *@domain3.com → inbox B).This would allow greater flexibility, improved organization, and…
