1. Would be possible to give out PGP public key for an Hide-my-email alias?

   I would like to publish alias on my website and also mention public key which people can use to establish secure communication with me without them being able to discover my real/main proton address.

   I cannot find such a feature request. Hopefully, it's not because this request is nonsense.

3. Update calendar month name while swiping

   I suggest updating the displayed month name immediately while swiping through months in the mobile calendar. Currently, the month name only changes after the swiping stops. This makes it difficult to navigate several months ahead without counting each swipe or repeatedly stopping to check the current month.

4. Display calendar notifications automatically sorted by time

   I suggest displaying notifications for a calendar event sorted by time (as in Google Calendar). In other words, the notification closest in time to the event time should appear at the top, with all others listed in descending order of time until the notification furthest from the event time. This improves readability, making it easier to decide whether another notification is needed.

5. Ability to print a daily, weekly, monthly calendar

   I "voted" for the development as a "Critical" feature but wanted to more fully express my dissatisfaction with the continued delay in activating this functionality. I happen to be a mail app user that frequently needs to print a hardcopy of the day's/week's/month's calendar. The fact that I STILL cannot do this in ProtonMail is beyond frustrating-seems like a relatively basic ask. C'mon team!

6. Filter Export or Filter Consolidation

   I am using a lot of filters to move my emails to folders automatically. Most of these filters are generated by using the ""Nachrichten dieses Absenders immer verschieben" feature. But now I have hit the 250 filters limit, and I'm not nearly done with filter creation.
   The way I see it, there are two possible solutions:
   1. I need to be able to export all filters, whether they are created automatically, or by hand. Export all filters as Sieve filters, which, I guess, is the format they are saved as anyways.
   Using the export, I can then use external tools to consolidate them into a single, or multiple sieve filters.
   This of course means, that I need to be able to active/deactivate/delete multiple filters at once.
   2. Have a function that is able to consolidate multiple filters into one. This could work by selecting multiple filters via a checkbox, and then having the system create a sieve filter, consolidating all single filters. The single filters would then be automatically deleted.

   Right now I'm at the limit and it is just not feasable to do this consolidation entirely by hand.

   As another solution, you could just remove the cap for filters.

7. Proton Calendar as the default app for iCal

   On macOS, it should be possible to open iCal files directly in Proton Calendar. Currently, Proton Mail/Calendar cannot be set as the default application.

8. Filters to apply to existing messages when a flag changes

   Add flag changes as a trigger for filters. For example when an email is marked as read, check if a filter is applicable and then process it. Other triggers could be applying a star or manually applying a label.

   If the server load would be heavy, it could be set up as an up to 24-hours until the filter will apply to spread the load.

   My pipe dream for my Proton (and work) mailbox is for all mail to land in my inbox and be filed away automatically into a folder after i read it

9. Proton Mail Desktop Email Client - Multiple Accounts

   I would like to see a Proton Mail Desktop Email Client (app), where I can view the status of all 6 of my Proton Mail accounts simultaneously, without having to constantly switch between each one separately. Basically similar to desktop Mac Mail app or Thunderbird app, but for Proton Mail accounts only.

11. Drag Labels to Messages

    I’d love to see a more fluid drag-and-drop workflow for labels in Proton Mail.

    In list view, drag a label from the left sidebar onto a message to apply that label. If multiple messages are selected, dropping the label onto one of the selected messages would apply it to all selected messages. When viewing an individual email, dragging a label onto the open message would apply it there as well.

    This would make organizing mail much faster and more intuitive, especially for users who manage workflows heavily with labels. It also feels like a very natural desktop-style interaction that many users already expect.

    I’d love to see a more fluid drag-and-drop workflow for labels in Proton Mail.

12. Increase the cap on address deletions for paid users and display clear UI about cap limit

    There is a very strict cap on how many and how often addresses can be deleted. As a Mail Plus customer, I get 10 addresses in total - which is a solid value - but I can apparently only delete one every year (?) or so. The actual cap limit is not published - the app simply fails with an error when try to delete a second address "too soon".

    I understand why deleting addresses is strictly capped: to prevent abuse, and it also appears to be a technologically somewhat expensive, plus that address is now forever unavailable to anyone.

    But it would be nice if the cap were just a tad more lenient. The reason is it turns out I need to change a few of the addresses over time for my uses, say: I need to delete 2 old ones and add 2 new ones when my life situation changes.

    We can email product support and ask for 1-off deletions, but that is an annoyance (takes days). That also must cost Proton real money for human interaction/support.

    So how about increasing the cap to 4 (5? 7?) per [time period], along with UI that lets us know how many deletions we have left and in what time period.

    Summary:

    1. Increase the limit on address deletions to some small number (4?) over some well-defined time period

    2. Display UI with how many address deletions are left in our cap at any point in time.

    3. Clearly display what the cap is (per year? per six months?). It is fine to live within a limit, and I understand why there must be limits on address deletions, but it would help to know what the limit and time period is.

13. Can I just point out that the mail export function is unwieldy and doesn't work properly.

    Just a thought. It's not a priority but I had occasion to want to back up my Protonmail emails yesterday, and I don't know whether you've tried it, but it's an unnecessarily convoluted process involving downloading an EXE, then typing a bunch of stuff into the terminal. Due to there being no cursor, I had to go back in and turn off 2FA and change my password to something siimple so I could get it to work. After which, it crashed twice and I eventually gave up. I'd like to think it should be easier just to download a load of JSONs.

    I propose a password rotation feature for those of us using 24+ and 64+ chars
    ASK: Partition long password and allow a specific segment to be updated

    Basic draft to contribute to CONOPS

    Preconditions: User has active authenticated session; MFA available.
    Users existing password must be 24 chars or more

    Step 1: User navigates to Proton login; TLS handshake negotiates hybrid PQ + classical key exchange.

    Step 2: User selects Password Change Special; system prompts for current password and second factor.

    Step 3: On successful re-auth, create a temporary sandbox session with no access to emails or other PII. Log entry.

    Step 4: Display password partition UI with clear labels and entropy indicator. Allow user to change one or more blocks of their password, but not the whole password.

    Step 5: Client sends proposed new blocks over PQ-TLS; server reconstructs candidate password, validates strength, and atomically replaces stored hash using Argon2id (Or read OWASP, NIST guidance).

    Step 6: Invalidate other sessions immediately and require re‑login; send notification to user; log change.

    Failure modes: On login failure, show generic warning, rate limit, and exit. On partial update failure, rollback and notify user.

    Postcondition: Password updated, audit logged, user notified, and sandbox terminated.

    OPTIONAL.
    Lock down all access to email for 12 hours starting now

    Notes: I am aware these exist:- RSA Tokens, MFA, Keywords, SSO, Federated authentication. I've not included threat modelling, precise server semantics for partitioned passwords. Over to you Proton Techs for consideration. "Is the juice worth the squeeze :-)" I'd love to learn that phrase in Swiss French too

15. Increasing Escape key navigation.

    Improve keyboard navigation with the Escape key. Two areas:

    (1) When I search for something within my mailbox, I want to hit the Esc key to go back to the inbox.

    (2) Sometimes pressing Esc doesn't "Go back". Ie, it requires me to click within the main content window. A common case of this is when I will open a message, I'll press Esc once, and it will minimize the current email. But pressing Esc a second time WILL NOT go back to the Inbox. For me to go back to the inbox, I will have to click in the area where the now-minimzed email was.

16. "Share" selected text

    In most applications on MacOs I can select text, open the context menu and choose "Share...". This allows me to send the selected text to other applications. Usecases: Translate with your favourite app, send to the shortcuts application to trigger your own workflows, ...

    Apparently this is not possible in Proton Mail for MacOs and for iOS, but it would be really helpful to implement custom actions on selected content.

18. Allow labels to be marked as current or archived

    Basically, I have a lot of labels from an old project that aren't applicable anymore. I'd like to mark them as 'archived' so I can still search on them, but they won't be an option to apply to new items anymore. With too many old labels the list is very long. By archiving some this list well be much easier to scroll through.

20. Customize Side Panel in Mail

    I would very much like to hide a couple of the elements in the Proton Mail side panel. I would like to be able to hide "Views" and "Folders" as I don't use them and they just take up space.
    At the very least, it would be nice to have the option of moving them to the bottom so the Labels element (which I use a lot) is higher in the left panel.
