  1. Make the sidebar's width adjustable in Proton Mail

As I have quite long folders names... I deeply need to have the ability to modify the sidebar's width!

  2. Agenda view overflowing items icon color

The "+" icon that shows up when you have more than 4 events on a single day is black on dark mode, so you don't really notice it. The color should be displayed based on the color mode you're in (black in light, white in dark mode)

  3. Standardize

Standardize the look and feel of INBOX, DRAFT, SEND, ARCHIVE, STARRED and TRASH icons across all devices. Take some time to design icons that are more attractive and appealing.

The icons that I am talking about are the ones that appear when there is no emails in the applicable mail box.

  5. ICalendar support!

Please implement ICalendar support so users can one way sync their calendar to other calendar services of feeds. When a user can do this he/she ALSO has access to the platform support options of other calendar services

  6. feature that allows users to block or delay outgoing emails

Feature Request: Outgoing Email Block / Cool-Down Rule
I would like to request a feature that allows users to block or delay outgoing emails based on recipient domain or custom rules.
    For example:
Prevent sending emails to specific domains (e.g. organisation or employer domains)
Require a mandatory cool-down period (e.g. 24 hours) before emails to certain recipients can be sent
Allow outgoing messages to be automatically saved as drafts instead of sent
This would be extremely valuable as a safety and accessibility feature, particularly for users experiencing stress, anxiety, or impulsive behaviour, and for those who want stronger safeguards against…

  7. I would very much like to be able to change the default font to something other than Arial.

Arial is not a particularly screen friendly font, according to my old eyes anyway, and has a somewhat distastefully history. If there is a way to change it, it should be in Settings IMHO.

  8. Auto-Delete Spam

For all email addresses that I have flagged as spam, anytime an email arrives from one of these senders, do not place the email into spam. Either reject it outright or immediately delete it. This could be a feature flag that the user can enable or disable.

It's tiring seeing my spam folder with 1000's of known spam messages as I try to look for something that may have landed there in error.

If I've explicitly flagged a sender as spam, I do not need to know that a message has come from that sender. It should be automatically discarded…

  9. Add an option for dimming folders without unread messages

Currently all folders in the sidebar have bright titles. I would suggest an option to enable dimming of folders, views, and labels with no unread messages to make these stand out. Compared Thunderbird that uses colour and bold font to highlight unread messages. Categories (More, Folders, Labels) could assume the same highlight and unread count on the right when collapsed.

  10. Datatype of dates in proton calendar

I tried to import a calendar from a different place to proton and got the error message that I cannot import dates beyond 2037. It may sound strange, but I have three long term things in my calendar.

I feel like introducing a 32bit bug in a relatively new product is quite the bad idea and consider this as a bug rather than a inconvenience. What do you think?

  11. Collect emails every xx minutes from external mailboxes

That would be great to be able to collect emails from external email addresses using a task scheduler, rather than setting up forwarding on external mailboxes ( when it's possible)

  12. Auto-forwarding/Migration Free

I am hesitant to commit to Proton Mail given auto-forwarding is only accessible with a paid subscription. The only reason I could migrate from Gmail to Proton was that the auto-forwarding function at Gmail is free and accessible. If I ever decided to migrate away from Proton, I do not want to be paying a monthly fee indefinitely in order to do so.

  13. Labels in order of placement by user.

    Dear Proton Mail,
I use a lot of labels to organize emails. Many emails have responses back and forth. By labeling them correctly, there is an overview of the route of emails.
Because more labels can be linked to an email message, I note that the labels are put in alphabetical order.
This is not entirely correct because the order simply doesn't make sense if you use more than one label. It makes more sense (to me and perhaps others) that the label order can be read according to the user's placed labels one after the other.
    It's just an…

  14. Mail and event reminder on Linux

On the Linux client, mail and calendar reminders are issued via the integrated notification system. At least that's how it is with Linux Mint. Unfortunately, this is pretty bad and confusing. It would be nice if the Linux client displayed its own windows for announcing an email or notifying an event (including a snooze and dismiss button).

  15. I-phone Protonmail app - improvement with backward steps?

One of the improvements made is the ability to enlarge a pic or text without the email jumping back to the beginning.
The negatives are : 1. When enlargeing an image or text, you can't swipe left to see the rest of the item. 2. Swiping left to the next email is no longer possible. 3. The old app dropped you into the next email when deleting an opened email. No longer the case. The app developers made one step forward and three backward! What gives?

  16. Stylus - S-pen: follow link and select text (Android)

Proton mail for Android: Enable selecting text and opening links using (Samsung Galaxy Tab S11) S-pen / stylus - this doesn't currently seem to be possible. Currently when using the S-pen, I have to switch to using finger touch to open a link.

  17. Favorite Folders in top left side panel

In both mobile and on web, I would like to control what folders are on the left, especially at the top. Outlook allows one to add folders as favorites and the favorites (if you have any) are at the top of the left side panel.

  18. Change owner of the calendar

I changed my 'primary' email address. Which also means that it gets changed for my Calendar.
BUT; all the calendars are still linked (shown) to be part of one of my other email address.

Request: I want it to be possible to change the email address to which my Calendar is linked.

  19. Proton Calendar mobile app Alarm support

In short: Proton Calendar mobile app support for alarms in addition to just notifications or email.

If you have vibrate profile on, there is no sound with notifications from the calendar app.
Now alarms (from the clock app for example) will always use sound, even if you have "only vibrate" on.
I am used to setting events in advance and creating multiple alarms so I am not late for or miss anything important. It is not practical to use the clock app for that. Samsung (and I think Google) calendar support this.

  20. Two small calendar tweaks

The desktop calendar is wonderful! It's just that I'm coming over from Google and there are two small things irking me:

    1. The dragging of the time blocks is not very streamlined. I would love for there to be a setting for time blocks to snap to 15- (and/or 10-) minute increments as well.

    2. On Google Cal, I'm able to type "1859" and it recognizes this as "18:59". Would appreciate for it to work this way on Proton Cal as well. Currently, on Proton, it automatically changes to a seemingly irrelevant time.
