Improved feature list for Apple TV
Apple TV works OK but is bare on features compared to the Android TV app. Would like to see a more complete feature list for the Apple TV, such as split tunnelling, choosing with server within a country, which Protocol etc.

Great suggestion! Apple TV works smoothly, but it definitely feels limited compared to the feature-rich Android TV version. Adding options like split tunneling, selecting specific servers within a country, and choosing the preferred protocol would hugely improve flexibility and user control. These features aren’t just extras — they make the experience more customizable and powerful. It would be fantastic to see Apple TV get the same complete feature set for a more consistent experience across devices. For more info, visit the website - https://www.lifelords.com/

Choosing a server within a country, or at least a region in country, is crucial to making the tvOS app useful. Many services are very touchy about regions.

I’d be happy just to be able to switch out the 5 recommended countries at the top. The recommended are horrible choices.

not a mastermind, butttttt I work to push out apps for dispensaries, and the trouble I always have is Apple wants to deep dive into every little nuance of the software update and every time you click save they start all over again
only thing I can think of is they’re waiting to push out The update in one big hurdle otherwise they’ll see pushback from their development portal and that can lead to the app getting locked up my apple

Apple TV apps often lag behind in features compared to Android TV. It’s surprising how things like split tunneling or protocol selection still aren’t standard. I came across this article recently — https://www.cogniteq.com/mobile-app-development they specialize in custom mobile and TV app development, and it gave me a better sense of what's actually possible on tvOS. Maybe worth a look if you're curious why the gap exists or thinking about a custom solution.
