    It’s not ideal, but you could create two Proton accounts and forward your emails to one. Then, use the drives based on your sorting preferences, such as school stuff on one drive and personal items on the other. After configuring, you should be able to use the two VPN services and share the drive files, eliminating the need to switch between the two accounts or keeping them separate for added security. :)

    not a mastermind, butttttt I work to push out apps for dispensaries, and the trouble I always have is Apple wants to deep dive into every little nuance of the software update and every time you click save they start all over again

    only thing I can think of is they’re waiting to push out The update in one big hurdle otherwise they’ll see pushback from their development portal and that can lead to the app getting locked up my apple

    ### SOLUTION ### Automating Proton VPN Connection: Two Options

    #### Option 1: Using Apple iOS Shortcuts

    If you're using an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac), you can use the Shortcuts app to automate the task of connecting to and disconnecting from Proton VPN. Follow these steps:

    1. **Open the Shortcuts App**: Launch the Shortcuts app on your device.

    2. **Create the First Shortcut**:
    - Tap the "+" icon to create a new shortcut.
    - Type or find "Connect to Proton" or the option to connect to the default VPN.
    - Name the shortcut and save it.

    3. **Create the Second Shortcut**:
    - Tap the "+" icon again to create another shortcut.
    - Type or find "Disconnect from Proton" or the option to disconnect from the default VPN.
    - Name the shortcut and save it.

    4. **Set Up Automations**:
    - Navigate to the "Automate" tab.
    - Create the first automation by tapping the "+" icon.
    - Select "WiFi" as the trigger.
    - Set up the trigger as follows:
    - When network: Enter network names or leave as "Any".
    - WiFi config: Set to "is joined".
    - Run type: Set to "immediately".
    - Select "Next" and choose the "Disconnect from VPN" shortcut you created earlier.

    5. **Create the Second Automation**:
    - Tap the "+" icon again to create another automation.
    - Select "WiFi" as the trigger.
    - Set up the trigger as follows:
    - When network: Enter network names or leave as "Any".
    - WiFi config: Set to "is disconnected".
    - Run type: Set to "immediately".
    - Select "Next" and choose the "Connect to VPN" shortcut you created earlier.

    #### Option 2: Using WireGuard

    This option works for both Android and iPhone devices, as well as Windows and Mac. It also includes iPad and Samsung devices if the WireGuard application is compatible.

    If you're okay with using a dedicated server instead of the Proton VPN application, you can use the WireGuard application. Note that this approach may not provide all the reporting features and QuickSwitch options available in the Proton VPN application. However, you can implement this for as many servers as you want to populate within the application on your device.

    1. **Download the Configuration File**:
    - Navigate to the Proton VPN website and go to the Downloads section.
    - Find the WireGuard section and download the recommended server configuration file or choose a preferred server.

    2. **Import the Configuration File**:
    - Once the file is downloaded onto your device, open the WireGuard application.
    - Import the WireGuard configuration file into the application.

    3. **Configure the File**:
    - Name the imported file and save it.
    - Configure the file to enable "On Demand" settings.
    - Set the trigger for VPN activation based on the network you are currently connected to, including cellular networks.

    ---

    This guide provides two methods to automate your Proton VPN connection, suitable for different devices and preferences.

    There is a similar service called Cloaked. I have both services, but I hope Proton recognizes the benefits of an all-in-one solution for its platform's users.

    Summary: Add the ability to create disposable phone number aliases with integrated dark web monitoring, similar to the existing email alias feature in Proton Pass.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Just as Proton Pass currently offers hide-my-email aliases to protect users' real email addresses, implementing phone number aliases would provide an additional layer of privacy and security for users. This feature would allow users to...
    •Generate temporary/disposable phone numbers for online services
    •Forward calls/SMS to their real phone number
    •Monitor these phone numbers for appearances in data breaches
    •Disable compromised phone numbers instantly
    •Receive dark web monitoring alerts if phone numbers appear in data breaches
    Benefits Would be.....
    •Protect users' real phone numbers from data breaches
    •Reduce spam calls and SMS
    •Prevent phone number-based tracking across services
    •Complement existing email alias protection
    •Enhance overall digital privacy
    •Support freedom of expression by protecting users from phone number-based censorship and surveillance
    •Prevent authoritarian tracking of activists and journalists through phone numbers
    •Align with Proton's mission of protecting civil liberties and free speech
    Implementation Suggestions....
    •Integration with existing Pass Monitor system
    •Similar interface to email alias creation in Proton Pass
    •Option to generate numbers for different countries
    •Ability to disable/enable forwarding
    •Integration with dark web monitoring similar to current email monitoring
    This feature would further strengthen Proton's commitment to user privacy and security, while providing a comprehensive solution for both email and phone number protection.
