Have settings open at startup on Windows or connect at startup when current settings fail
I am consistently experiencing failure of my paid Proton VPN to either open at startup on Windows 10x64 or connect at startup, and this is happening every instance despite update to newest version. There is currently no way to resolve this easily that I know of.

how about an affordable family plan, i have wife and 2 kids. also allow for 1 domain.

Random wireguard servers
with openvpn, a country configuration file has remote-random, which chooses a random server each time OpenVPN client restarts. But wireguard configuration files do not have this, same server is used which reduces privacy.
A good way to do this could be to have an endpoint that redirects traffic to a random wireguard VPN server (as wireguard does not have remote-random equivalent)

Temporary Split Tunneling
Allow to temporarily split-tunnel an app/IP/domain.
This would be especially helpful on mobile when I need to access specific websites or apps that block VPN IPs, but only for a short while.
At present, I either split-tunnel the app and remember to remove it, or disable VPN and disable the "block connections without VPN" toggle in system settings. Neither is great from a privacy standpoint, but even though the latter is objectively worse, I still end up doing it because it's so much quicker to leave the toggle off, hit the tile to disable VPN, do my business, and turn…

By having it actually connect.
instead of free proton saying connecting and never connects, let's try making it connect and learning about how to do that more easily without being redirected to compare plans or upgrading, it seems that's all you all want to discuss or suggest.

Profile Regions
It would help if we can select regions for profiles. This could be like Europe, Far East, etc.
Also, to randomize the server we connect to in that region.
We should also be able to mark countries we do not want to connect to.
Also, we need the servers locations defining a bit better. We might want to connect to a particular city rather than just a particular country.2 votes -
Provide Netshield protection even when not connected to a VPN server
ProtonVPN NetShield is a great adblock and anti tracking solution, but it is available only when I'm connected to a VPN server.
It would be nice to be able to keep it activated all the time, since sometimes I have to disable the VPN to be able to use some websites. Some solutions creates a "fake" VPN connection just to block ads. Another way would be to use Proton DNS to filter it.

Mark, specify, or sort specific servers by supported protocols.
I sometimes get annoyed when I see servers in the server list that do not support certain VPN protocols. It would be handy if you could sort the servers by supported protocols.

More VPN Servers (Countries)
It would be nice if more countries like Liechtenstein and Monaco could be included as well as a chinese VPN Server. (like Cyberghost and Surfshark have) :)

Specific connection for certain sites (browser extension).
I would love to being able to use a specific server for a website, a feature that already exists in Mullvad. I believe it is very useful, for example, on one website I connected to country X because it is the streaming location I want to watch, but I don't want the additional latency on the other pages, so I keep it on the fastest server.

A checkbox that includes all Microsoft IP addresses used for M365 to bypass the VPN
Some M365 tenants have conditional access rules, which would prevent using M365 while on a country that isn't allowed. If the Proton VPN had a checkbox that would automatically add all official Microsoft 365 IP addresses to bypass the VPN via split-tunnel, that would allow access to Microsoft 365. You could also go a little further and include a checkbox that would add all Microsoft 365 applications to bypass the VPN.
Those two changes would simplify things for users who want access to M365 and also to be protected via VPN for non-Microsoft applications or websites.

Possibility to make the login server inside the country where the client is located.
I and my friend from Russia conducted an experiment and found out that connecting to the Proton VPN server in Russia, the connection is practically not blocked, works stably. But if you try to connect to servers not in Russia, the connection is very unstable. Let me specify, during the experiment only Stealth protocol was used.

Have a little effect when you copy a port number
When have port forwarding on, you have the listed port, and you can click it to copy it to the clipboard.

Double vpn
Today I'm buying Premium on X, it's cheaper in Türkiye. However, I'm in China so I can't connect to many servers (include all those in Türkiye) directly.But I can connect to some servers in Japan.
So I connected to Japan on my phone, then I turned on hotspot on my phone and enabled "Allow clients to use VPN". After that I connected my computer to the hotspot. Then on my computer I connected to Türkiye. So I connected to Türkiye indirectly successfully. But I need to use 2 devices.

Improve NetShield capabilities on mobile
while the Desktop version display number of ads blocks, the android version should show same.
Other capabilities for mobile versions (Android & IOS):
- Block 3rd party trackers an app used. An example is Duck Duck go App Tracking protection.
- Notify when malware got blocked.
- Add a log feature showing which app use 3rd party ads.
