  1. Split tunneling, reverse implementation on Android

    I'd like a reverse implementation of Split tunnelling on Android. If I only want to use VPN for 3-4 apps, I have to manually exclude the remaining 350 apps.

    There should be an option to "only include these apps".

  2. Dynamic IP address

    IP addresses of servers should be changed on daily basis as it will not get detected as a "VPN IP Address" by sites who block internet connections when they see shared IP address.

  4. Better Linux integration and support

    The app really needs better integration and support on different flavors of Linux. Now, since WireGuard is part of the kernel, it can be heavily utilized.

  5. Include Domain Names in Split Tunneling Exclude list

    Currently, adding a website to the exclude list requires that I first must find out the IPv4 numerical address, which is not easy to do for a lot of people. I eventually found: https://dns-lookup.com

    It would be nice if the exclude list could accept names instead of numbers, it would only require using your own DNS server to return the numerical address to the app as an appended tag for the exclude entry - so the app would still work pretty much the same as before

  6. Split tunnel support for macOS

    You have split tunnel (by application) on Windows. I would like the feature to be available on macOS.

  7. Netshiled status in Linux Cli

    Hi,
    It would be nice that when we use the command pvpn s to get the status on the connection, that the status of netshield was also available.
    We have the protocole UDP/TCP, Kill switch status, but not the netshield.
    Thanks a lot.

  9. Change iOS app icon color to indicate connection status (or as notification)

    I'm relatively new to iOS, so I might be missing something, but it would be nice if the ProtonVPN connection status was shown as a badge on the app icon. I think what a user can see on the status bar is different depending on the version of iOS and model of phone and, in my case, the VPN status is not shown (which is different from the Android device I used to have).

    I sometimes find that the VPN is not connected (and not trying to re-connect) even though "Always-on VPN) is selected in the app settings and it…

  10. Add "configuration files" bundles for Plus/Tor/P2P

    I need to ensure i'm always connected on a "Plus" server, (for geo restrictions). For now i have to set one "Plus" server from "Standard server configs" list.

    Currently, 4 lists only:
    * Country configs, it will automatically pick-up a random server in your chosen country, whatever its type (Free, Plus, TOR, P2P, ..)
    * Secure Core configs
    * Free server configs
    * Standard server configs (you choose an exact server)

    Replaced by (all below are still sorted by country)
    * Any (former "Country configs")
    * Specific-server configs (former "Standard server configs")
    * Secure Core configs (no change)
    * Free…

  11. Proton VPN feature

    Linux feature request. Please implement a VPN "Pause" feature in the network manager. Right now there is an option to turn off the connection. Netflix will not connect with VPN. It would be nice to have a VPN pause and resume feature.

  12. iOS 12 widget for vpn

    Hello,
    Thank you for a great product.
    Please consider to port existing widget of iOS into the new iOS 12 widget so that it can be used on a more flexible way and integrated into the user interface.
    The existing widget is considered legacy in current iOS.
    Thanks

  14. Add ability to sellect a specific VPN server in the Android TV application in the same way as it is possible for PC or smartphones

    The experience of working with some online cinemas on a PC and smartphone has shown, they selectively refer to the IP address received from protonVPN, even if these addresses are within the same country.  For some IPs all content is provided, for others only some of it, for others nothing at all.  On a PC or smartphone, the problem can be solved by explicitly choosing a different VPN server in the same country.  On Android TV, there is no independent choice and this often leads to the inability to watch the content of interest.

  15. We need a desktop visible indication showing VPN connected or not.

    There's to many occations where the VPN connection has not been established without my knowledge. Please give an easy visble indication on VPN connection status. Perhaps directly on the desktop.

  16. ProtonVPN Flatpak/AppImage for Linux distros

    These days it is very common to package applications across linux distros into flatpaks or appimages. These would be easy to manage for the ProtonVPN team and provide us with a working GUI app instead of the hard to manage cli client.

  17. Firewall support within ProtonVPN

    If possible, I would like for some basic Firewall settings to be built into ProtonVPN as I can't run both NetGuard (a Firewall only app that acts as a local VPN) and ProtonVPN at the same time on an un-rooted Android phone.

    I am mainly looking for the ability to block certain apps from having access to WiFi / Mobile Data.

  18. A Proper ProtonVPN Linux Client With GUI

    I would love to see a proper ProtonVPN Linux Client with GUI that looks similar to the Windows version and with the same features. The current Linux client does not look good and it's too much and not plain and simple like with the Windows version. Is there anyone else that are not happy with the current client and want a better one?

  19. Allow ProtonVPN to use existing LAN DNS/Custom DNS

    I run my own secure DNS. I would like for ProtonVPN to offer the ability for the user to elect to use an existing DNS / Custom DNS rather than the Proton DNS server. Private Internet Access, which I no longer use since changing to ProtonVPN, began offering that recently and it works well. There may be a security risk doing that but the user should be able to specify if they still want to do it. I would use my own DNS when on my LAN, and the Proton DNS when on a different network. Thank you.

  20. Multi VPN passwords

    I love your VPN, I just dislike to use the same password for my ProtonMail and use it on multiple devices, as I am a visonary member and not an organisation.

    I hope you will implement this feature

    Kind regards
