Make an official package for arch linux instead of the AUR package
Why is there not an official arch linux package at this point? I think it would be awesome to just enter "sudo pacman -S protonvpn" in order to install it.
It's not like arch linux is an lesser known operating system.

Subject: Suggestion for dedicated IPs at Proton VPN
Dear Proton VPN Support Team,
I hope you are well. First of all, I would like to praise you for the excellent service you provide with Proton VPN. I am an enthusiastic user of your VPN services and appreciate the security and anonymity they offer me when surfing the Internet.
However, I recently noticed that some websites tend to block or complicate access from VPN servers. This can sometimes be frustrating, especially if I want to access information or services hosted on certain websites.
In this context, I would like to give a suggestion. It would be great if Proton…

Add favorite servers option in Android app
I'd love to see an option to add favorite servers that I frequently use in the Android app. You can already do this in the desktop Linux app which is quite barebones overall compared to other platforms. But I love this feature and use it a lot.

Keyring program support on Linux
On Linux, the dbus-system allows the use of other keyring-programs, e.g. KeePassXC.
Proton-VPN only accepts Gnome-Keyring or KWallet.
As Proton-Mail Bridge already works fine with KeePassXC, it should be possible for ProtonVPN to use the same tool.

Change email account used to purchase VPN
🏓For personal information security reasons, I need you to add the feature to change the Email previously registered to purchase VPN to a new Email Account, this helps users have more options to hide the Email Account name origin + With the feature of setting a password for VPN, it helps hide the name of the VPN Account being used from the prying eyes of unwanted people.

Split tunneling for folders
I would like to have the option to split tunnel folders so that I don't have to add each program individually to the split tunneling list.
For example, I want to add all my Steam games to the split tunneling list (for multiplayer games), with this option I only had to add my Steam library folder to the list.
In this split tunneling folder, there could be an option to exclude some subfolders, so that some games, for example, can still run through the VPN.

CMD W on Mac
This is not so much something that went wrong but a way to make the App work a little better on Mac. For Proton VPN when you hit CMD W, or click the red circle, it removes the icon from the Dock but it is still working in the background.
For most Mac Apps, including Proton Mail, hitting CMD W, or clicking the red circle, closes the visible App but leaves the icon in the dock. This lets you quickly open the App again.
It would be nice if Proton VPN acted the same way.1 vote -
Improving keyboard control of the Windows desktop version
While I am very happy with all the features the ProtonVPN Windows desktop version offers, one major drawback for me is that I cannot use it without a mouse.
Quickly cycling through all the buttons using the tab key does not work, or at least not in an intuitive/convenient way. Getting this to work reliably would be very useful for keyboard-oriented users. Keyboard shortcuts within the app would be extremely helpful (maybe even configurable shortcuts, like F1...F12, for directly connecting to the custom profiles).

Would be nice to create and include a password manager since you're all about security! :)

Obfuscated servers
Create obfuscated servers and make them available for all platforms (windows to router configuration). This to enhance more privacy, as well bypass censorship to connect to/from VPNs and other restrictions. With this, VPN traffic would look like any old regular internet traffic to ISPs, government, private companies or streaming services, hence, can’t see that connection is from a VPN service. Pros of this, navigate the internet normal and have most of the regular services available on webpages to streaming libraries.

Disposable browser tabs
There is a broswer extension called SquareX, that allows us to have "Disposable" broswer tabs. This basically means that the browser tab itself runs in the cloud, which is more or less the perfect secure and private way to do anything in the Internet.
But as a free service it has pretty big limitations, most importantly related to the quality.
I think if Proton can offer a similar service with thier paid VPN plans, but with offering at least stable 1080p 60fps quality, that could elevate the entire service to another level compared to the competition.

block Line ads ip
Recently, in Taiwan, using the iPhone app "Line", their advertisement includes daily conversation. Their ugly truth is that "Fruit ID" in iPhone listening everything 24 hrs, recognizes keywords, gives them to Line (also other businesses like yt), then matches them, and sends the advertisement to the Line user (link with the same "Fruit ID"). Many daily work groups use the "Line app" in real life, so I using it.
I tried the "Letmebe app." The function includes blocking the "Line app" or adding IP. I want to block only advertisement IPs. I guess a VPN can design this function. Here…

Modify Linux app settings when not logged in
I got into a headscratcher because my gnome-keyring was reset while using the advanced killswitch. After a reboot I was logged out of PVPN and couldn't disable the killswitch since the settings button of the app was disabled. Alternative idea, include this command in the setup guide for Linux so other people with a similar issue can look up the solution from their phone or something: nmcli con delete pvpn-killswitch-perm

Please re-build ProtonVPN Linux GUI app with Qt Framework
Hi! I like the ProtonVPN GUI app on Linux. It has so many good features.
But I think that the choice of GTK was a mistake. This framework is just one large piece of garbage - from both points of view - devs and user experience.
Most serious, quality and useful apps for Linux (about 90%) are uses Qt Framework.
GTK is unpopular. Every year more and more existing Linux software are rewritten with Qt Framework. It's stable and gives better look'n'feel experience.
GTK development is chaotic. The developers themselves don't know what they want. It looks like that GTK…
