Any ETA for this? It has been asked since forever!

I find it bizarre that I provider that so much promotes privacy and security does not support Linux full by default.

Just brought the ultimate plan for a year cause it was 50% off and the features looked good. Pretty disappointed to see there is no linux client for drive. Hopefully we can get that to the top of the list.

This is essential, I can't justify upgrading to Ultimate plan if I can't even sync files from my PC.

Missing any possibility to sync files on Linux is the only reason preventing me from buying Ultimate plan.

We are waiting way too long for important Proton Drive features like specific folder sync, Linux Client and many more. It's really a mess and I don't want to wait anymore so unforuntately I will have to stop my membership and switch to another provider.

It would be so much simpler to scan my documents and save directly to Proton Drive, instead of the workaround: using a browser to move my files around.

I just went back to the first comment in this thread. It was October 30, 2020. Four years plus. That's a long time to ignore (likely) tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, of customers.

absolutely critical for people transitioning away from google and apple cloud infrastructures. the lack of even a mention on the road map, let alone any update in over a year is another huge blow to confidence in being able to complete a transfer.

Absolutely critical to have a Linux integration even if it's only for Debian and Fedora.

I've replaced my day-to-day workstations with Linux from MacOS. Currently using Tresorit and would replace with ProtonDrive once a good Linux client is available. since MacOS is already available, unsure why Linux is a heavy lift other than prioritization.

Absolute game changer. I would love to replace my current storage solution. Privately and professionally.

This would be a game changer. I run a small consultancy firm. Planning on moving us all to Linux-based laptops in the next year. Without this, we'll stay with MS for mail, calendar and files, and just retain Proton for VPN. With it, we could switch everything over.

This is incredibly important to me. I'm really reluctant to upgrade my Mail Plus subscription, because I don't know when this feature will be added. It doesn't seem to me to be on the roadmap for the immediate future.
If this feature would be there, I'd upgrade instantly.

Yup, agree with one of the other recent posters. My next renewal is my last unless there is activity on this issue. Prioritising a crypto wallet over expanding an existing product to the Linux OS is far too bewildering to continue to put up with.

This has been need for a while now. Drive is the last app missing Linux support.

I've been a happy paying Proton user for more than 6 years including a Proton Unlimited plan for the last two years which I recently renewed. It may be the last time. I might also downgrade to Mail Plus, use the leftover credit for future Mail Plus plan renewals, and subscribe to another service that has a Linux sync client. No Proton Drive sync on Linux is increasingly becoming a show stopper.
