Linux Client
Proton Drive really needs the ability to sync desktop files automatically. This post focuses on a Linux client for Proton Drive.

These people believe in security, FOSS, freedom and yet they still can't add native support for all of there products especially proton drive for linux. SMH.

so many comments and votes, but the CEO still have a courage to say that linux users aren't enough to start a project with protondrive

Is there any progress on this as a Linux user, long term customer of Proton inc ProtonDrive it's quite frustrating. I rely alot of my Proton Drive and not having a Linux Client caused huge inconvenience.
There are other services with native Linux support please Proton......

The worst part is that they skipped this Idea for the next one as the other 2 top ideas have been started except this one... 0 respect for the community not even a comment. As always feels like we are being disregard as people as we are always discriminated. Not even a we will do it soon TM. :/ I was waiting to pay for this but I AM DONE WAITING as how it looks they start new services like a useless wallet when the other services are not even remotely usable. I WILL RECOMMEND NOT TO USE THIS SERVICES TO ANYONE WHO ASKS IRL OR NOT!

The lack of the Linux sync is the only thing holding me back from upgrading.
Right now I'm doing Google Drive and Cryptomator but like many, I would like Google out of my life. -

I was ready to buy proton unlimited, but now I won't until this is implemented. I cannot believe this isn't a feature. Why even use proton on Windows or Mac? Kind of counterintuitive. Your focus is misplaced.

I need this to allow me to use Obsidian to sync between a Mac, iPad and a Linux Mint MacBookPro, otherwise I might as well use Obsidian Sync and save some money....

I've been a proton user for about 6 months. I am still using dropbox because there is no linux client :(. This is really frustrating as there are many privacy conscious people, and probably a large percentage of them run linux (i think more than OSX).
There are also, likely many linux users (who have a higher probability of being privacy conscious), who have not switched to Proton because this feature is lacking.
Proton product team, you really need to learn your market.

I'm kind of dissapointed that they already have a Bitcoin Wallet, AI services, but we still don't have a client for Linux for this.

Patiently waiting for this. In the mean time, RClone sorta works, but is a huge pain because it's slow and complicated.
