1TB is kind of the standard among other companies. Please offer a 1/2tb option

This is a much needed feature. Proton Unlimited's 500GB are not enough. Same goes for Proton Mail Plus's 15GB. The prices are very expensive compared to other providers like Apple, Google, Microsoft and the storage offered is too little. Okay Proton provides privacy and a bunch for mail features but still, the storage offered at these prices is too little for 2024.

Here is my case, I have planned to join Proton last year. Specially when I saw a video on X about Proton Pages. At that moment, I knew my time with Google is almost over. Yet, I have hesitated when I saw the plans and my only option was a family plan because of the drive's size. As mentioned by others, it's more than my needs. I would prefer to get an individual plan with at least 2 TB. I have made a document for my future plan which includes an upgrade to a 6 TB of drive in the coming years. I have took 3 of my votes for this suggestion and I would appreciate if Proton Implement it. I have no problem paying 10 times the price of Google to have a secure-private services. Thx for the hard work Proton.

Agreed with the majority of posters here, that Drive would benefit from having options to just buy more storage as opposed to upgrading Proton accounts and just having a new fixed storage amount. This is currently the only thing keeping me using OneDrive--and I really want off of OneDrive.

Yeah it would be nice to have different scaling options. I don't want to have to get business/family just to have more space.
I think a simple extra $x per TB or something is simple enough. And then you can choose how many more TB you want, with discounts at higher quantities.

I'm pretty sure if we'd have more we would still ask for more :)
But still, I'd be glad to pay a bit more to get 1 TB. 500 Gb is unfortunately not enough for my 'important' files, so I'm stuck with other alternatives in the meantime.

1TB needs to be part of the selection. I work with large design files.

In some cases 500 GB is not enough if you're using another service and want to switch to Proton Drive.

I think this is a great upsell opportunity. I'd be happy to cut another cloud storage provider and pay Proton instead.

The biggest limitation in approaching Proton is the 500 MB capacity limit. If it reaches at least 1 TB, I will gladly sign up.
Today there is only the Family plan, but it offers services in which I am not interested.
It would also be very useful to be able to buy space when needed without having to change plans.

The biggest thing stopping me from completely switching to Proton fully from Google Workspace is the abysmal Proton Drive storage limit. I'd like to see storage addons available for purchase since 500GB is just not enough for my needs.

a terabyte or two would be wonderful. i just barely trimmed down my files to fit under 500gb after re-encoding all my videos, but another year's worth of work, pictures, and videos will blow right past that capacity. i can't properly switch without higher capacity (+ linux support lol)

Please increase the hard drive limits. I currently have 6TB, but it would be great and crucial to have a larger drive. Thank you.

Yes please. I couldn't migrate all my files from OneDrive and had to settle on encrypting the files and storing them on my own server as a result. Happy to pay for additional storage, however I'm not willing to buy a family plan as I currently don't need it. Would love to pay an extra dollar or two and add a terabyte of space.

This is crucial if you want people moving over from other services. 500GB is simply not enough and getting multiple users just for this sake is not a good solution (and expensive).

It would be interesting to be able to contract additional space without changing category.

The storage total needs to be disassociated from how many users you pay for. It seems like that's a legacy piece from when the service was only email.

I personally really need to have the option to purchase additional storage capacity on a per-TB basis (excluding family plans). If this option were available, I would be happy to move all of my data from Dropbox.

I would like to see this option out side of the family plan because at the moment the only way to get more capacity is subscribing to the family plan and this is only limited to 3TB

It’d be nice to have more storage plan options for individuals. I don’t need all the extras of a family plan just to get more storage.
