I've been using Dropbox for ~11 years and am currently looking for an alternative.

Proton Drive seems nice but I have a Synology NAS on which I'm using Dropbox right now.

I can switch until I can use Proton Drive on Synology.

I can't believe it was confirmed that this was on the road map 3 years ago, but today we still have nothing... Such a shame

As a mature cloud platform Proton Drive should have the capability to sync with Synology NAS systems.

agreed this is of critical importance to me as well

I am a Proton user and I need need to mirror my NAS content into Proton Drive for both safety and security.
I keep my critical data on a mirrored NAS but everything is local.
For a disaster-recovery I need a remote copy (no, I don't trust US companies at all).

looking at the current geo-politics this would be my preference. Currently using dropbox, but would switch to proton if this would be made available.

This would completely simplify my backup strategy. Please implement. Thank you!

One of the major downsides of Proton Drive. There aren't many but this is definitely one of them.

Another critical feature missing for Proton Drive. When will this be even considered?!

It’s a business-critical feature because, due to our Disaster Recovery policy, we are required to have an offline backup (or a backup on our Synology server). It’s time to allow Hyper Backup to create encrypted backup copies - it seems reasonable to copy the entire selected drive or folder as an encrypted file. I’m not saying it’s efficient, but it does make sense from a DR perspective.

Critical feature. Lot of votes. Why proton team don't work on it instead of releasing new app constantly ?

I really like Proton, but basic things like this are making me look elsewhere.

Why this keeps being ignored?

Forcing me to be tied to another cloud provider without this feature.
