Synology NAS Cloud Sync
I miss the capability to connect my ProtonDrive with my Synology NAS by CloudSync or Hyper Backup. This would be one of the last disadvantages compared to conventional cloud providers

Very necessary, if Proton Drive should be a real alterantive to Onedrive & Co.

Periodic data backup - either to or from Synology is a deal breaker also for me. Or at least S3, Glacier or anything. Tried rclone a while ago, but was unreliable and failing lots of times.
I have 2-year renewal later this year, but seriously considering migrating if some form of backup is not presented (waiting for 6 years already). We are getting so many new product, but can't use half of them, since there is no backup option for it. Currently backing up gmail data to my Synology and Synology to S3.
Until there is no such option, I can't trust you with my critical personal or business data (photos, documents etc.), sorry. And am since just overpaying for mail inboxes with huge privacy premium.
Please make some app finally to either sync data from Synology to Proton drive (to utilize it for backup at least and drop AWS), or even better, offer some way to periodically backup the data to my Synology, so I can then fully utiliize your products, use Lumo on my personal docs and images etc. Thanks!

I cannot store all NAS Data locally thus Proton Drive does not work for me.

I was considering to quit Google drive and move to Pronton Drive. At this moment I sync Google drive with my Synology NAS. The option to sync with Proton drive is not available. Conclusion : I have to keep Google drive.

it does not have to use CloudSync or Hyper Backup if you do not want to disclose anything. You could offer your very own proton backup for synology app, this would attract SO MANY new users! There is a massive business value behind this feature!

I'm looking to switch off of American hosters, I'd love to use Proton, but integration with synology cloudsync is a must have for me...

I am looking to move off dropbox, and Proton looks ideal - except a major use is as backup for the shared folders on my synology NAS. So I'm not paying for proton if this isn't available

I am very interested in Proton solutions but NAS sync is one of the keystone of my use case (data hosted on a NAS shared by people in the household with a sync in the cloud acting both as backup and providing online availability). That is what prevent me (and lot of people according to other comment) to move to Proton as my main cloud provider.
