Agree with need for heading outliner similar to Word, but I think Google Doc's take on it (tabs) is even more useful.

Yes, please! Even for small documents, this is critical. Would like to see both the outline as a sidebar and be able to link to headings and jump to those headings within the document.

I would like to move all of my docs to Proton, but I can not do this without this feature. My documents are huge, and it's necessary for navigation.

This feature has been proposed already. There are votes lost as a consequence.

I work with longer, structured, documents, so having a navigation bar like in Google Docs, Word or Dropbox Paper is essential.

Please add a table of contents feature!

I agree this should be a feature. I use this functionality in google and lark docs and is sort of essential if you collaborate a lot on a larger document.

The addition of this would fully convert me to Proton Docs! I make huge docs that really need a TOC and internal linking.

I make documents with lots of chapters, which I use headings for. There should be an outline or heading select to more easily navigate the document.
Also, when hyperlinking text, I should be able to link to a header in that same doc so I can make my own table of contents (so people reading .pdf can also navigate easily).

Finally, it'd be nice if we could save our own custom heading styles in some way.

This would be so helpful - I'm using proton docs but have to switch to google for complicated documents. Would really love to finally switch 100% to proton.

And the ability to create a URL that jumps to a specific heading in a doc!

I would like proton documents to be able to have title and headers that can be navigated via a table of content. This is a very important capability! 🙏👍

I use headers to organise my documents and need this to easily navigate through them. Please implement this.
